I jave had these in for about a month now without any problems. After resetting my check engine light it has not returned sense the installation. I was able to pass emissions and the truck runs great. I had some problems removing my old CATS so I did have to get the news ones professionally installed. Still worth the money. The shipped box was a wreck when I received delivery but the product was intact. This is a split unit I was expecting a single piece but that was fine with me.

Needed a quick fix for a 99 4x4 silverado that had blocked cats. Was easy to install, had to remove the tranny cross over support but everything fit up perfectly and was a breeze to install. As recommended in prior reviews, use a c clamp to hold the muffler fitting to the new assembly as the bolts are fine thread and will strip if too far away and too much pressure put on them.. Would be a good upgrade to stop using fine thread and go to medium at minmum.

I wasn't sure that I really had a bad cat on my 2003 Sierra, but swapping this in made all the difference in the world! I definitely had a plugged cat on the original part. This fit well and went in quickly, but as some of the other reviews have mentioned, plan on removing the transmission cross member (and support the back of the transmission with a jack) - with the cross member out, the old pipes dropped right out and the new ones slid right in.Some of the other reviews have talked about the studs stripping - the manufacturer must have been listening to the comments. Look at the pictures below - they do not use welded studs anymore like the OEM parts - there are holes and you use bolts. The provided bolts are fine thread and probably not high quality - I think one of the bolts started to strip as I tightened it, so I stopped there, but it is tight enough to hold it together. If the bolt strips, you can always use a better bolt since these aren't welded in.The original pipe had a flattened section in it. These replacements don't have that, but the pipe does not hang down below the transmission cross member, so I don't see any need to flatten the bottom.

Perfect fitting OEM replacement on my 2000 Silverado 1500 4X4 4.3 standard cab. The only difference I could see between the factory pipe that came off and this one is where the down pipes go into the Y collector seem to neck down just a little tighter in this one. Not a huge difference though. I'm 100% satisfied with quality and price.

Direct Fits on my 2002 Silverado 4.3l . Bolts are made from soft material easy to be damage. I do like the price on Y pipe from others 's Brand models Y pipes's. It sound great with not out a muffler being attached. OBD 2 trouble code resolved P420'

Converter will probably work fine for factory exhaust. The fine threads on the back exhaust flange are neither long enough nor strong enough to attach any tail pipe that does does mount flush to the flange the way the factory tail pipe does. I have a Magna Flow exhaust that is flanged and mounted fine the to the factory cat. The fine threads stripped easily when trying to tighten them to my exhaust. There wasn't even enough room on the stud to put the washer; too short. This vendor needs to put strong course threaded studs that are at least half an inch longer to match the factory spec. I will have to drill out the studs and replace them with bolts next weekend.

Fit like a charm, no warning light now and cheap. I was quoted just over $1000 to install. Had to lower center support in 2003 Chevy Silverado ext cab to get old one off and new one in but worth the trouble. Thanks for the savings. Came with flanges and others to make it complete.
