Haven't used the filter with this, but hooked rest up similar to another reviewer, and couldn't be happier. Fresh water when needed for coffee, teapot or hot water kettle.Couple 1/4" cable clamps, pex 3/4" suspension clamps and use the provided hose. Beautiful.Love it.

Wow!! What a great idea. We never have to worry with filling our Keurig ever again. I simply put a "T" at my refrigerator supply line for ice maker. Then ran the tube through the back of the upper cabinet to where I could drop straight down into hole I drilled into the top of the Keurig tank lid. With it having a float valve and 1 movement for it to turn on an off, I don't see where you can go wrong here. There are days I need the extra 2 minutes this saves me every day.

We use our K - Duo Keurig every single day. My husband drinks like 12 cups of coffee a day! It was such a pain constantly filling the water reservoire. When we had parties or entertained... which is often... it was crazy! We had contemplated getting a commercial coffee machine so we could hook it up to filtered water. But I thought.... there's got to be another option. We were deciding about DIYing the plumbing and hook up for it... when I came across this baby. It works great! Easy to hook up and tie in under the kitchen sink. Quick connect components work great and no leaks. We hooked up the filter close to front of the cabinet for easy replacement. And we decided to put the hole on the top of the water tank lid instead of the side of the tank.... works out much better for us due to the placement of our machine. And this way we can still easily clean our tank. Best thing we could have done! Great price too. We couldn't have bought all the parts to build the kit ourselves for much less. Love it! Thanks!

I was looking for something that fills the tank automatically once it reaches a certain low leverl. I hate to make this comparison, but exactly like a toilet. This is manual and you have to drill into the reservoir tank and make sure you install it in a water-tight manner. Furthermore, the valve handle/lever is on this attachment, so you also have to install it on the plastic tank in a way that it is strong enough to support you turning the valve into the open position and then shutting it off before it overflows.Full disclosure, I did not install this yet. I may not even bother. However, if it didnt have auto in the title I would not have purchased.

I bought this to add a filtered water to our Keurig and alleviate the need to refill the water container from teh sink. The kit had most everything htat was needed to be installed quickly. My issue was that I had have 1/4" connector on the water supply line and the kit included an adapter for 3/8" connector. No local hardware store or plumbing store carries a 1/4" female to 3/8" male compression adapter so I had to order it off Amazon. I also had to purchase a 3/8" to 1/4" reducer to hook up my steel braided water supply line to my refridgerator. So my setup was as follows:1. From my water supply (1/4" connector) I connected the 1/4" to 3/8" adapter2. I connected the black Tee that was supplied with the kit3. Connected a 3/8" to 1/4" reducer to the black tee.4. Connected my refridgeration supply line to the 3/8" to 1/4" reducer. What should have been a 15 minute setup required trips to hardware stores and then order the adapter off Amazon. Another trip to the hardware store to get a 3/8" to 1/4" reducer. And then I was able to connect everything.

I was tired of constantly refilling the water reservoir. This unit was easy to install and works great. Comes with an inline filter. Works well.

This Do-it yourself Refill kit is a wonderful timesaver. I was originally shopping for a commercial type Keuirg with autofill as we seemed to be constantly having to refill for our family of 5 (not just coffee lovers). Every time my wife wanted to hot beverage we were having to disassemble the reservoir, take to the sink, top it off and reinstall. Sometimes it was more hassle than worth the drink. Since installing this refill kit, she doesn't get as frustrated finding the reservoir low. Just a quick turn of the valve and within seconds she is ready to go with filtered water. Now the only problem we have is reminding the kids to make sure the valve is completely closed after refilling - we have had a couple puddles. This install was quick and easy to complete. All required connections were included - as long as you have a water source within proximity. Our unit is right next to the refrigerator - made it easy to use the "T" connector to tap in to the water line. The only downfall or improvement that would make this system better - would be an integrated float valve for automatic refilling. But as is - this was a great addition to our household .

Works perfectly for its intended purpose. Like others have stated I didn’t want to purchase a commercial coffee maker to get the auto fill feature. For a fraction of the money and one trip to Home Depot we can now avoid the drudgery of getting the dreaded refill light when you need that morning cup of coffee the worst.I used support clips used for coax cable to route the tubing up the wall and over to the filter. Instead of using the provided wood screw to mount the filter bracket I used a small bolt with nut through bottom cabinet. A set of two spring loaded broom handle clips holds the valve perfectly in place. Be sure to mount the fixed side up.I’ll probably replace the last section of white tubing with black at some point but for now it’s rare that we let the water reservoir get anywhere close to empty because it’s fun to use the refill valve.....I know it’s sad but it’s the simple things during the pandemic.Edit: It is best to run tube straight into reservoir without coupling. Just make sure enough tube is in the reservoir so water is directed toward bottom of container and not near where top meets reservoir.
