Q&A

Q: Why do my headlights fog up?

A: Headlight condensation happens due to temperature fluctuations. When the outside air is cooler than the air inside the headlight housing, moisture in the air condenses on the inside of the lens. This is common in the mornings, after rain, or following a car wash.

Q: Can blocked vents cause headlight condensation?

A: Yes! Headlights have small vents to equalize pressure and allow moisture to escape. If these vents are blocked by dirt or debris, condensation can build up inside the housing instead of evaporating.

Q: How can I prevent moisture from getting into my headlights?

A: You can prevent headlight condensation by ensuring proper installation, checking and clearing vents, inspecting and resealing damaged seals, placing silica gel packs inside the housing, and avoiding high-pressure washes that can force water inside.

Product is quite cheaply made. Guide pins for light bulb alignment very flimsy. When they are broke no way to get bulb position correct for High and Low beam. Break off without even knowing they have done so. Notice sent with NEW light fixtures that you might have to apply Silicone Seal around lens if they fog up. New fixtures should not need to be sealed by the consumer.
