The hitch went over the existing bumper but doesn’t come with washer between the hitch and the aluminum body. I had to add the washer to avoid corrosion between metal and aluminum vibrations. Also, this pushes the impact bar out a little and that pushes the bumper tow hook cover out.

I am giving 4 stars because the original number could not be fixed to this tow hitch. I had looked at uhaul hitch which had the option to atta h the original number to this tonprovide additional protection but since this hitch can't atta h the original, I had to install the hitch by itself as holes don't align. This hitch is not very thick either. So I would suggest you to reconsider if you don't have issues paying a little more for that hitch as it's more sturdy and can attach existing bumper for additional protection.Installation was easy and seems to be OK quality, only time will tell, how stable this is. The screw provided under the 2 inch receiver is at odd location.

Arrived in time and nice packaging .Fits well to the model y and can attach the crash bar on top so added safety .Sturdy and coating is well high quality.Things need improvement are :Some instructions would have been better.There are no instructions on packaging or even in product description .Apart from that seller communication is good .I would recommend .

I love the build quality of this tow hitch. It is OEM quality with only a fraction of the cost. Looks great and fits perfect. Installation takes about 1.5 hours and was easy to medium as I had some help from friend. Used this hitch to haul trailers and it went way above my expectations. Excellent buy for people with trailers or bike stands.

Fits perfectly on the factory bumper bar mounts. It’s solid, good material and welds look good. They include a plastic receiver cover.Only improvement would be that it do not include trailer lights cables or instructions.
