It might take 15 minutes to install for the pros but your do it yourself guys laying on your back underneath the truck juggling 55 pounds and trying to get the bolts in with one arm takes a lot more time

The receiver was a little higher than the original, but this is a heavy duty unit, and I was well pleased. You have to drop the spare and I used a floor jack to help me hold up the hitch while I started the bolts. You need a 2 foot breaker bar or an impact wrench to loosen the old bolts. Not hard, but maybe not for everyone.

Fit on my 2005 Silverado Z71 great. One of the mounting flanges moved a bit during shipping but it was easy to move back. I used a larger hammer and a 2x4 and it squared right up. It came with nice bolts and the whole unit looks great on the truck.

I needed to replace our OEM receiver in our 2009 GMC Sierra due to excessive wear over the years. Receiver arrived today by UPS in perfect condition. Attached to the hitch was a bag containing all necessary hardware and instructions. Total time to remove the original hitch and installing the new hitch was 1 hour. Perfect fit including attachment to original bumper. Much sturdier than OEM.
