My outdoor hose spigot is flush tight against the side of the house, it can be a pain, when installing and uninstalling the hose each season., as I am always scraping my knuckles on the siding. These quick connects make it so much easier and faster. They do not leak at all (so far), which is highly appreciated, no need for plumbing tape. I also have multiple hoses that I use around the garden so having the extra quick connects is great! I have enough to attach them to all of them.I have used quick connects at work previously and I will admit these are a tighter fit so I have to push them in a little harder, but the tighter fit helps cut down on the risk of it leaking as does the provided rubber gaskets. I can’t attest to the corrosion resistance as that happens over time. They are the right size for a garden hose. Very happy with my purchase.

These brass garden hose quick connectors feel solid and heavy-duty. The build quality is excellent. They are so easy to attach and detach, and I haven’t experienced any leaks so far. I assume they will leak over time as the rubber gaskets wear out. That shouldn’t be a problem, since the gaskets are inexpensive and easy to replace. The price is very reasonable for a set of six.

I bought these to work with others I already have, and they did not disappoint.They are solid brass, include the washers, and just simply work (whether with each other or the ones I already had). No leaks, no problems.There is even a set screw on each, if you want to lock down certain connections. If not, leave the screws alone and the quick connects easily separate as expected.I don’t think you can go wrong with these. Just make sure you pay attention to which ones you need (male quick connect side on female hose side, or the other way around).

Great set of heavy quick-connects for your hoses and spigots. I recently bought some stainless steel hoses (favorably reviewed on Amazon) that I wanted to use on various spigots around my house. I bought sufficient connectors so that all the spigots have the male connectors, and all the hoses have the female connectors. I installed them with pliers and/or teflon tape to make sure they were water-tight. Now I can use any hose on any spigot.These quick-connects do NOT leak, so it's a pleasure to not have standing water on the ground around the spigot after use. The cost per spigot in this set of 6 is very reasonable.Definitely recommend!

I got these brass quick connectors to supplement my supply of aluminum quick-connects (QCs). Nope. The fittings do NOT match up with the aluminum connectors (with black rubber gripper bands in pic). I was surprised that they DO fit with existing plastic connectors.Two aspects I did not expect:1. The fittings do not mix/match with my existing aluminum QCs.They do mix/match with existing plastic QCs. Like the plastic QCs, they are harder to attach. The O ring must be seated well for the QC to seal. Half the sets leaked on the first try, but sealed on the 2nd try. This was the case when I attached brass to brass and when I attached brass to plastic. Likely I will have to replace O rings within a year.2. Existing aluminum sets have the male part of the QC set attached to the hose-end device (here, sprayer). These brass sets have the female part of the QC set attached to the sprayer. I have some plastic sets with female attaching to the sprayer and some with male attaching to sprayer.For these two reasons, I will use these connectors in a specific set of 4 hoses that I use, always and only, with one manifold and 4 specific sprayers. They will not be in the general population of garden hose equipment.The pieces appear to be well made. They do not have rubbery ridges on outer surfaces, so they are harder to handle when working with wet hands.These solid brass connectors should hold up well to routine weather and yard abuse. The current price (less than $20 for a set of 6 connector pairs), provides a good value IF you do not need to mix and match with aluminum, and if you do not often need to disconnect/ re-connect.ADDED:If you need a male/male or female/female connector for a garden hose, of course you will go to a hardware store and get a good quality part. But today I needed a temporary ‘just need this right now’ setup. I used the right-ward (to me) plastic connectors with the backwards (to me) brass connectors. Problem solved.Rating: goodMy scale: 5 star = excellent (or has a special feature), 4 star = good/ very good (does what it should), 3 star = average (or has a minor flaw), 2 star = below average (multiple flaws or does not perform its function well), 1 star = avoid (does not fulfill its mission). I rarely use the term ‘perfect’ and I rarely assign 5 stars.
