One of the worst Chinese products I have ever purchased. It cam with no assembly instructions. When I tried to assemble it the key broke.

This is a simple lightweight hose reel, but I'd suggest getting something more substantial. The product listing calls this a retractable reel, but it does not auto-wind itself like the spring-loaded hose reels. There is a knob on the side to manually turn to wind up the hose onto the reel. The thin hose is translucent and reminds me of the type of hose used in kitchen faucet sprayers in the 1980s. I'm skeptical it hold up very long. Either it will degrade from the sun's UV rays, or the water pressure will burst it at some point. The case is thin plastic, and the quick-connect hose connectors are plastic too. Connecting to my outdoor spigot, water sprayed out from the connector in several directions no matter how tight, and it has a washer inside. There is a length of teflon tape included that I had to wrap around my spigot threads to contain most of the leakage. I still had a regular drip though. There is also an extra non-threaded adapter with a hose clamp & thumb screw fastener. It does not make sense to use this in addition to the threaded hose connector, but might be a subtle hint that the manufacture knew they had a leak problem that needed an overly complicated solution.A few of things I did like were the length of the leader hose that connect the reel to the spigot. It's long enough to give options about where to locate the reel. The handle is also a nice touch and the mount for the sprayer on top. Last, the sprayer attachment is nice with sevral spray patterns. I primarily use the shower option, and it is a wider spray pattern than other sprayers I've used to cover more area.For the cost, this hose reel feels too much like a child's toy. You are better off investing in a nicer hose reel that will last several seasons in the yard or garden.
