As always, I waited before reviewing this hose holder—because effectiveness over time matters more than the thrill of assembling a shiny new gadget for the yard. After plenty of watering, rinsing, and a few instances of untangling what should have been an organized setup, I can say it holds up well. It’s sturdy, looks sleek, and keeps the hose neatly stored instead of sprawling across the lawn like an unruly serpent. That said, I really wish they made a screw-down version. As much as I appreciate the freestanding design, being able to securely attach it to my wooden deck would be a huge plus—especially on windy days when it shifts just enough to be annoying. It’s not a dealbreaker, but if you prefer a rock-solid, unmoving hose station, you might need to get creative with placement. Also be careful with the assembly. The small and medium screws look very similar. Thanks for stopping by to read my review! If you need a stylish, functional hose holder and don’t mind it staying mobile, this is a great pick. Just be prepared for some repositioning if Mother Nature decides to test its stability.

This hose reel is built from sturdy metal and feels durable enough to withstand years of outdoor use and weather exposure. While it does require some assembly, it was easy to put together on my own without much hassle. One of the best features is the built-in stakes at the base, which let you secure it firmly into the ground. This makes it easy to position right next to an outdoor faucet and keeps it stable during use. Overall, it’s a practical and well-built solution for hose storage.

Im really impressed with this freestanding hose holder. Its made of strong metal and seems pretty heavy duty good quality. It came nicely wrapped to prevent damaged and all the screws and Allen wrench are included so you dont need to find tools to put it together. It took me about 15 mins total, but would have been less if I paid better attention to the picture instructions and hole placements lol, I had to redo some when I got to the next step and realized I had screwed them facing the wrong way. Everything went smooth until the end, the center bar placements were a little off but I muscled them into place to get the screw started and after that it was fine. I had to really water my area because I'm here in Arizona and the dirt is dry and hard. But I got the spike ends in most of the way. Even with the spikes not in all the way its very stable and doesnt wobble. The hose is easy to wind and unwind on the holders. It can hold 2 hoses, one each side, and I was able to place both a 50' and 100' hose without issue. Its priced less than similar products, making it a great value in my opinion. It and adds a nice, attractive, clean and organized look to the yard. Great for gardeners. Very happy with it.Review for Xinkulas Garden Hose Reels Holder Freestanding,Double Sides Metal Water Hose Storage (Black)

This is a great value garden hose holder. It comes in quite a few pieces but assembly only takes a few minutes because it is a straightforward process. Due to the many piece design, there are several weak points that I worry will become loose over time. I wish that it was a mostly welded frame because that would prevent those weakness issues. It would also get rid of the need for so many bolts which are bound to let moisture in and corrode over time. That issue aside, it is surprisingly sturdy once it is in the ground. The metal stakes make it easy to push into the ground and it has no issue holding our heaviest hose. The design on the basket portion is great and adds a nice aesthetic.Although a fully welded design would be better, it is a great option that looks good for the price.

This hose caddy is stronger built than I had anticipated. Right out of the box I noticed how heavy and sturdy each piece felt in my hand. Each piece is individually wrapped so there is no metal to metal contact during shipping, except one small bag of 4 rods and the screws (screws in their own bag), and as you can see, everything was bubble wrapped, so there was no damage from shipping when it arrived. Kudos to the manufacturer on that one.The instructions were super easy to read since they were written in a universal language - pictures. Assembly took me about 15 minutes following the directions provided. I did notice that one of the screws indicated an included quantity of 10 and there were only 8, however, only 8 were needed to that wasn't a big deal to me. During assembly everything was flying along smoothly until I got to the rods that connect the front and back. The screws are preset inside the end of the rod as is common practice. The problem is that a few of the screws are not set in proper alignment as you can see in one of my photos. The misalignment presented a small problem but it was easily overcome with patience and "assembly language" skills. Once fully assembled, it looked nice and was sturdily mounted into the ground with the spikes on the bottom of the legs.No more wrangling the hose out of the grass when its time to mow the lawn.

This seems like a fairly good hose holder so far. I am slowing replacing my very sad uni-pole hose holders for bi-pole holders. The instructions aren't much but it was easy to assemble and you are given all the tools you need for actual assembly. It seems to rock a little bit but my soil is fairly loose and I have tons of old mole/vole holes that may be causing unseen gaps in my soil where I penetrated into it. I like that I could load hose on the front and back the holder. I didn't over load the back but I did put the "extra" back there as a counter balance to the front bit of hose.I didn't see any major concerns at the few welds on the holder. I would caution users to not over load the holder on the front because it might start slowly bending the front down from the weight. The vertical posts seem quite sturdy and I couldn't see any obvious issues with the paint where I would be worried about it rusting out in a season.Price is right in like with most hose holders you find locally in stores.
