This is for a pressure washer Product ordered directly from Giraffe. ordered 3 hose reels from Amazon, which appears to work well..Pressure washer Works inconsistently. Leaks which caused motor to run constantly. Warranty is useless. Contacted company multiple times, sent video over past 40 days. Finally received a response after threatening to call State AG office. Said they would escalate twice. Have not received a response.Buyer beware of poor customer service.

Update: They sent a replacement. Will update my review since they responded will a replacement.Previously: Would not recommend this water hose reel and was really excited to use it to solve our problem. Their other products may be fine, but this broke in two weeks and customer service dragged their feet on responding, on offering to repair/replace. I sent them everything they needed, then they asked for a video, etc. I was careful with this hose reel, knowing it's mechanical and would need to be carefully retracted and unretracted, so there was no abuse here. I was not given a return option here even though it was less than 30 days, but I chatted with Amazon support, told them my experience and they refunded my money and send a return label. Thank you Amazon for your support where the manufactured fumbled it.

So far no concerns like others stated with retractability. Seems very sturdy after installing per instructions. Very easy to pull for watering. Size is really compact, I was amazed how small it is.

Definitely go for 5/8 or larger as the water pressure is too Wimpy on half inch and the metal mounting bracket is very crucial for endurance These things are awesome!!!

When extended 75% of its length the coiled spring “burst” within its plastic housing rendering the hose unretractable.

This hose makes it so easy to water our gardens, wash the car, any anything else we need to do. The nozzle that comes with it is excellent too. Definitely worth the investment.

We've had considerable work done recently to the south side of the house. Had to remove a 60 foot pine tree because the roots were destroying the retaining wall and fence. That's all done now, and my wife has decided to renovate the south side as a pollinator garden. She needed a way to water these plants, and this seemed to be a good fit. It's far better than a regular hose hanger because the summer sun just dries out a regular hose. It was installed yesterday, and I spent some time teaching her how to use it and take care of it. She absolutely loves it.! It installs easily, (if you are somewhat handy with tools), it seems very sturdy and there are no leaks in the unit. I bought the cover for the unit as well, as the south side of the house get pounded by the SOCAL sun. Overall, very happy with the unit so far!EDIT: We started having problems with the hose not retracting all the way, it seemed to be overlapping the hose on the reel, jamming the hose against the top of the case. We contacted Giraffe Tools, and the end result is a new hose reel being shipped to us. Extremely outstanding customer service!

Ordered this unit because of the reviews, portability, had one delivered that I could not separate the bracket from the unit, re-ordered after discussions with Giraffe and I must say their customer service was premium. I would recommend this product.
