This is officially my favorite pair of running shorts I've gotten off Amazon. They are super comfortable and soft and I've yet to find a chafe spot. The little pockets are perfect for carrying the right amount of gels or salt tablets on 1 to 2-hour runs in the southern heat.My ONLY wish is that they came in a 5-in instead of just a 3-in. I'm a heavier runner so not asthetic in short shorts and the side pockets can hang past the short if weighted down.If they kept everything the same and had a 5-in, I'd ditch every other running short in my drawer and load up on these in a 5-in.

Good set of running shorts with inner liner makes these shorts very comfortable to run in. They fit true to size and are comfortable to wear for workouts. Very nice to have multiple pockets both in the outer shorts and the inner liner ... and most of them have zippers, so I can go out confidently knowing that my keys / phone / other gear won't fall out along the way. They do feel a bit heavier than other shorts I have, so maybe not great for the warmest days where cooler/lighter-weight clothes are beneficial.

I like the idea of these, and so far they are holding up, but I have some real concerns about the phone pocket going forward.Full disclosure, I am wafer thin and over 6 feet tall, so even the small doesn't feel tight. The "compression" still rides up at times and my phone feels like it wants to jiggle until I am gliding along in rhythm. I didn't notice it doing that the first two times I wore them; it has done it the last two, and it seems like it is getting worse.I might try to wash them in dark water or somehow that will get them to shrink, but I do worry that they just don't hold up long, which is a shame because I like the feel. I like the zipper pockets. I like the back waist pocket. I like the drawstring closure. I like the feel of the material. I like the light weight of the material. There is so much good that I hate to think they will stretch out in just a few more runs.

Phone pocket in the middle of the back is my favorite spot for a phone when I'm running: check. You're also going to have to put your key and ID here so be careful as you pull your phone in and out that you don't accidentally drop them.Pockets in the waist for keeping gels and snacks; check, but there's no closures or magnets or other to keep your stuff from bouncing out. Don't put your key here.Hand pockets on both sides with zippers; check. But the bottom of the pockets are not tacked to the shorts so they flop loosely. This means if you put anything (key, gel, etc..) in them while you're running, it will end up sticking out below the bottom of the shorts and bouncing against your legs with every stride, rendering the pockets generally useless. Definitely don't put your key here, it will slap your leg over and over.Compression liner; check. But it's not really compression, the liner fits very loose.Reviewers are right about sizing down. I wear a large in every brand of shorts except this one, I got a medium and they fit fine except the compression liner is still too loose. They're on the right track, let's hope for a better second iteration.

Alright, so right off the bat, the only bad thing about these are that they're slightly overpriced. I'd be comfortable paying 15 for these, but the price isn't outrageous. The shorts themselves are made from a very breathable smooth frictionless material that makes running with them very comfortable. The quality feels pretty good, I can see these lasting me a year or two of wear. They fit as expected.

I would actually give these shorts a 4.75 star rating. I love everything about these shorts except I did not fully understand the liner is actually designed to be lower down your leg than the shorts are. Yes, I know, the picture does show that fact. I have worn them to the gym around 5 times so far and they perform outstandingly. They have every trait I love in a gym short, they are an excellent wicking material, they have multiple zipper pockets so items don’t fall out and the zippers are an excellent manufactured zipper (they should last a long time), they are lined with a snug material that keeps everything where it should be and will not gap when doing floor exercises. They fit me true to size and I like the wider waist band on top which will not roll down.

I recently got these running shorts and I think they are fantastic – easily some of the best athletic shorts I've owned. They are incredibly comfortable thanks to the super soft, smooth, and breathable fabric, which also dries really quickly. The amount of storage on these shorts is a game-changer for runners. They have multiple zippered pockets to keep valuables secure, mesh pouches on the waistband perfect for gels, and the built-in liner even has a dedicated pocket for your phone. The inner compression liner itself is a great feature, adding comfort and support for you man parts.Based on my experience and what others have said, these shorts do seem to run a bit large. And I decided to size down from what I usually wear, and I definitely recommend others do the same to get the best fit, particularly so the liner feels snug enough to support.Putting the sizing note aside (since sizing down resolves it), the quality for the price is excellent – they feel much more premium than other shorts I've tried in this price range. They allow for generous movement and feel very durable.
