Why is it so Important to use Hardener for your Pool?
Pool water becomes corrosive when it becomes too soft. If you do not manually add calcium hardener to the pool, the water will begin to take what it requires from any part of your pool or pool equipment that contains them, such as stones, concrete, metal, grout, and so on.
Low calcium hardness is frequently associated with the following issues:

First Step to balance your Water:
The first step to Balance your water is to test your pool's water and ensure that it is correctly balanced. pH should be between 7.4 and 7.6, total alkalinity should be between 80 and 120 ppm (parts per million). Calcium hardness should be between 200 and 400 parts per million.
Check that the testing kit you're using covers all of these levels. Calcium hardness isn't taken into account by some test strips or liquid test kits, so double-check before you buy.

I needed 20 lbs as per pool shop analysis, however very difficult to find this pool chemical in 10lb size, either a lot smaller or huge amount I would need to store without knowing if I could ever use it again. They were also very expensive. Glad to have found this Company offering it on Amazon at a very reasonable price and of course 10lb size. Did the job.
