We bought this to roast a pig over the fire at work! This thing performed amazingly! It was was very easy to install on our pit. It fit perfectly, super quiet while in use and an inexpensive addition to any great bbq! We roast a 250lb pig with this rotisserie! Great item!

This worked very well. I took off one star because it would be nice if the collar came in different diameters to accommodate different diameter spit rods. It is VERY strong, great torque. I roasted a 80 lb. pig for 6 hours with no problems. I'll be buying another one for a different location.

Very impressed with this little motor, I have done 10 different functions and it hasn't let me down once. 4 functions cooking beef and all were at the 100 pound mark and 6 full pig roasts, smallest pig was 115 pounds and the largest was 210 pounds. I will be purchasing another just as a back up

I like my motor made to fit my hand made Pig Rotisserie!!! It’s a must have definetly! I change the one screw but motor can handle the weight and 5 hours easy!

when I receive the item today I was happy to see the quality and I'm so excited for the summer to come as I will use it in our family camping for our barbeque and to roast a whole pig as this was our favorite food we called lechon pig.

This is a recent purchase and used only once, but I have some thoughts. First of all, it worked as described. The motor was easily strong enough to handle a 65lb mostly balanced pig. It wasn't too noisy and didn't seem to struggle or get hot. A couple of things need to be shared- the coupler wingnut/screw is cheesy, it wanted to strip out while tightening. Swap it out with a bolt from your hardware store first thing. The mounting hardware is also pretty funky. We built a platform and a frame to hold the motor box. For home use, I am hoping to get a lot of use from this. If you cook on a rotisserie regularly, and/or cook heavier animals, you might want to check sturdier options. I'm satisfied though.

This was installed on a custom, heavy duty pig spit. hooked up to a 7+ foot stainless steel 1" ID spit bar. this had no problem turning an unbalanced 30+ LB pig and effortlessly turned it for hours once balanced. the simple mounting elements worked out perfectly.value for the money? well, if it runs for 10 roasts, it will be 15 bucks a pop. I think thats OK but if she goes for years and years then yeah, this will have proven to be good value for the money. if its still around in 5 years I'll let you know.i forgot to take pix but I'll try to remember to get some next time I'm there. Its pretty sweet how easy this was to use.
