These are perfect in the kitchen when an appliance needs to get close to the wall. Solid and dependable these plugs allow for a 90 degree plug in. They work great.

Like that the plugs are more against the wall rather than sticking out.

The plug is solid and changes the connection to a right angle parallel to the floor (going to the side) not vertical.

It was exactly what I needed. However, the first shipment I received had only the cardboard backer and no product in it. Customer service replaced it and when I received that one, everything was included but the plastic covering the adapter plug wasn't even glued to the cardboard. The packaging should maybe be improved but I do like what I purchased.

I have an outlet inside my drawer in my bathroom for my blowdryer. The outlet they installed is for two plugs but blowdryer plugs are so huge I could only fit one into it. So I purchased this so I can plug two items. Works great.

I love these things. Second two pack I have bought. The big benefit is being able to plug in something behind a dresser or something that is pressed against the wall. There are a lot of corded things with flat plugs these days. However, the best choice in a corded appliance is not always the one that includes a flat plug. This plug adapter turns all the others into huggers. On top of that, it make a single plug into two.

Simple device, but such a useful thing you didn't realize you needed before. After years of bending cords (probably damaging cords) for phone chargers, routers, TVs, and other devices, this totally solves the issue. Now I can manage my cords and keep everything hidden and tidy behind couches, bookshelves, media cabinets, etc. This really became necessary when I received a plug from Google Fiber with the power adapter built into the plug itself. In order to fit, we had to move our bookcase almost 5" away from the wall, which just looked odd from the side. This hugs tight to the wall and allows us to position it all the way back like before. You can fit two stacked together on a standard outlet if needed. The only thing to be mindful of is the position of the prongs and the angle/direction you'll need to plug your device. In some situations, it might be more helpful to have something turned so that you can plug horizontally. I have found uses for these ALL OVER the house, but at ~$6 per outlet, I'm only using them where absolutely necessary. Otherwise, I can generally get by.

This didn't extend as far as I thought it might. Cannot return for some reason. Unused. If anyone wants it let me know.

This gadget is brilliant, it's true. Sure there are many other designs of wall plug multitaps you can buy but here is what makes this one rise above them all.THE CHALLENGEMost people I know have their kitchens arranged a certain way for a reason. Because that's the way everything fits the best. In my kitchen I have my coffee brewer near the sink for obvious reasons, but it is also near the best place to store my coffee supplies and cups. I also have my instant hot water maker located right next to it for all of the same reasons. Unfortunately that places the hot water maker right in front of the electrical outlet where the two plugs make it stick way out, taking up valuable counter space. And the second device is one that I unplug when I'm not using it which means sliding it out away from the outlet every time. The Hug-a-plug lets me keep my Keurig plugged it with its cord tucked behind the brewer out of the way and my hot water maker much closer to the wall and plugged into the other outlet where I can easily reach it to unplug it. Plus I still have the remaining outlet available for my nightlight. So why not one of those six way multitaps that plugs in to both outlets - something you may not be aware of is that GFCI outlets like commonly found in kitchens do not have the standard spacing between the outlets, so you are limited in using most multiple outlet adapters.OTHER USESHere's a hint, shop carefully, you can get one of these for around eight bucks or you can get the same thing in a double pack for about ten bucks. There's even a six pack for about 28 bucks. Naturally I went for the double pack and immediately found a use for it under my desk where the electrical outlet is right in front of me feet where I am forever kicking it. The hug-a-plug routes the plugs off to the sides, out of my way, and again frees up a third outlet to use for something else.QUALITYThis is made in the USA and is UL listed. It fits snugly into my outlets and my plugs fit snugly into it. I can't possibly think of a way I could improve it. I know some say they want it to be larger to accommodate charging transformers but if they made it bigger that would defeat the whole purpose of it sticking out as minimally as possible, wouldn't it. If the made it bigger it would no longer be a Hug-a-Plug – it’s perfect just the way it is.UPDATEAfter I wrote this I saw another customer’s concern about the internal wiring of this product so I added a closeup pic of what it looks like inside the plug receptacle. I don’t share the same concern, not to say that it is an invalid opinion, but to me if a product has been inspected and approved by the UL I don’t think I have to worry about how it is engineered, it obviously passed safety tests. For my part I did wiggle several different plugs around and in no case was there any short or sparking or loss of power. I also used a circuit tester and the result was no loss and full power transfer through the adapter. Based on that I would say my level of trust for this product is no more but no less than any adapter plug or extension cord sold by anyone these days and there is nothing to cause me to believe that this is an inferior, faulty or dangerous design.
