This automatic can opener is super easy to use and makes opening cans a breeze. Simply laying the opener over the top of the can and pressing the start button is all the work that is need to open a can, rather than difficult hand cranking like a normal opener. I like that the opener has a magnet built-in to it, so the lid sticks to it when you pull the opener off, rather than falling into the can.

so i go this in yesterday and my 8 yr old decided it was time to open all of our cans in the pantry...lol. she didn't get that far, but had we not stopped her we would have been making a LOT of soup. haha. it's really easy to operate, recharges fairly quickly, and really handy to have around, especially when you have a lot to open. for the price i really think this is worth it!

Very noisy and fails to cut through the tins. Ends up with a partially severed tin lid. Not impressed. Heading for the recycling bin.

Works ok when operating you have to hold the can especially small type eg Tuna Best bit it’s recharging no batteries to replace or electricity ideal for travelling or camping

We got this for Mum and Dad who are in their early eighties. Mum really struggles and has done for some time with most things that need a certain amount of hand strength and dexterity, Dad has had Carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists so this USB rechargeable electric can opener seemed like something that would really help both of them.I have to be honest and say that I had my doubts that this would be a winner but I was proved wrong, I guess I think of can openers as something that fails on a regular basis. As a kid all the cans needed a can opener and I guess the average can opener had a hard life and hence a short life! As it's turned out this electric can opener has been a great help to Mum and Dad and so far it's been reliable too.Five out of five stars for helping Mum and Dad and for being reliable.

A god send for older hands or left handers or both. I've lost count of the number of tin openers I've tried over the years, most barely worked and a fair number came apart in my hands. It's fantastic to find one that just works. No fuss, no trying to engage a cog onto a tiny rim with the wrong hand, just press the button and it cleanly opens the can. Not the cheapest but I've spent at least 3 times the cost over the last few years for can openers that I could barely use. I've opened a reasonable number of cans with it over the last couple of weeks and it shows no sign of needing charged so far, so good battery life too.
