I wanted a 1/2 barb to 3/8 barb, what I received was essentially a1/2 threaded npt to 3/8 barb. This is not what was advertised nor what I need.

Perfect! Just what I needed for my LS swap. Vacuum fitting on the back of the LS6 intake I'm using on MY LQ4 was 1/2", but my brake booster uses a 3/8" hose.
