Fits the factory 1.27id upper radiator hose perfectly, but the additional fitting information on this product is incorrect. For the LS, I just did the conversion on an LM7, the information that keeps trying to state that a 1/8 npt to 1/4 is the correct fitting for the conversion of the the steam pipe is incorrect. I wasted a bunch of time with this miss information. The LM7 in my 2001 Silverado has a 5/16 steam or crossover pipe in the front. The coolant hose for the steam pipe is also about 5/16 ID. This product is great but get the 1/8 npt to 5/16 nipple for this.

Used this to replace a plastic T coming off the radiator for a 2004 Saab 9-3 Arc. Worked perfectly with a brass 1/4” to 1/2” barb connection to the 1/4” treaded port.

Nice product, would increase size of the T area to accommodate tapping a larger fitting to allow for at least a 1/2" mpt barbed fitting. For 2005 Saab 9-3 2.0 turbo, you will need three brass adapters at least to get the turbo coolant hose to connect at the tee. The first one will be 1/8" mpt - 3/8 fpt socket, then work up (do not remember the size of the next fitting) to get to the 1/2" mpt barbed fitting. Decent permanent replacement for the plastic one that comes with the new upper hose. Prone to breakage due to external torque and coolant temp coming from turbo.
