Showed with a gouge down the center and a scored up edge for the last half of the channel. There were failures of the system at all levels here. the factory put the gold coating on an obviously defective product. Then it was shipped. Then Amazon packaged this in another box, with the defect obviously showing as it was stiffed into the box. Only time will tell if the replacement is better.

It arrived kind of dirty and with a dent in it. It was ok after I cleaned it up. Packaging could be a lot better. Was fine for its advertised function.

The INCRA Miter Chanel was the right product for my new router table. It fit the table perfectly without needing to be trimmed to size. Since I use an INCRA miter gauge, it made sense to me to use the INCRA miter channel. Amazon Prime shipping saved me an afternoon of driving to/from the nearest woodworking/tool store, too.

I want to be able to use a miter gage in my router table and shop-built drill press table and this extruded aluminum channel from Incra really makes the job easy and precise. It will work with any miter gage with a 3/4" bar, but the undercut is a real plus because it secures the tip of an Incra miter gage, keeping it in the slot when the bulk of the gage is still off the table.I wanted a miter slot perpendicular to the one in my band saw table that's parallel to the blade. I made a clamp-on, laminate-covered top and milled a slot for the miter channel. Now I can run my Incra miter gage perpendicular to the blade and quickly set it to compensate for blade drift. Great stuff!

Amazons description of the use of this Miter T channel because it is difficult to find bolts that will work in the track. Luckily I was able to get the "only" blots that will work with this INCRA Miter Channel. These bolts are not listed in the products that Amazon sell -- or at least I could not find them easily. In addition, when we were able to find them the cost $29.00 for four of them.

I have used this channel several times for jigs, my router table, and my band saw extension table. It's great stuff: Accurate, strong enough, square, easy to install. I use a router and a straight edge to do it.If you are installing it on a table that is going to have a laminate top make sure you do the final depth trimming of the slot AFTER you put the laminate top on. You want the top of the miter slot flush with the top of the laminate or tools that use the hold down bars may bind. Also, screws that come with it are good for Baltic Birch or wood, for MDF I prefer drywall screws - which fit.

The Incra Miter Channel is a "T" slot that works well with Incra's (and most other types) of slides like the Table Saw Incra Miter Gauge .I mounted my small table saw on a milling machine and machined the old slot to the size needed and set the inset in place. It came out nice and gives the old table saw new life.I also got the and now have a complete Router/Table Saw center that gives repeatable results to plus/minus .002" of an inch.A great system overall and is a must in a small shop like mine. I recommend Incra Tools and use many of them. I was a machinist when I was younger and Incra has brought that kind of accruacy, ease of setup and repeatability to woodworking.
