This affordable gauge is a high performance miter gauge designed to fit your table saw, band saw, router table, disk sander, or belt sander like a glove. While the V27 delivers all of the accuracy of its bigger Incra Miter Gauge brothers, its no-nonsense design and compact size make it the most affordable Incra miter gauge in its class. The V27 delivers extreme miter cutting accuracy thanks to Incra's exclusive AngleLOCK indexing system and adjustable GlideLOCK Miter Bar. Equipped with Incra's exclusive AngleLOCK Indexing System, the MITERV27 offers 41 locking angle stops in 5-degree increments over a full 180-degree range, and allows for plus or minus 60-degree range miter cuts. Special stops at plus or minus 22-1/2 degrees for optimal versatility.

Incra's Flip Shop Stop offers instant, repeatable accuracy for less downtime and more productivity. Dual, pivoting flip arms mean dead on accuracy. The machine bar is fitted with Incra's exclusive top-mounted, T-slot retainer clip, which is easily removed for use in non-T-slot channels. Four expansion points adjust for zero side play, anti-friction travel on all tools with standard miter gauge channels, including Delta, Craftsman, and imports. This means the bar won't wiggle around in the miter slot. Also, with the Universal Mounting Bracket that supports any user-made fence as well as any Incra fence, it's possible to put an Incra Miter Gauge in every standard miter channel in your shop.

Very well built, very accurate! Great deal. Replaced a Dewalt miter gauge that came with my saw…night and day difference.

After making the initial adjustments to align with my table saw, I made several test cuts. The angles were accurate; however, I did attach a sacrificial fence.

I purchased this for my SKIL table saw, and it fits perfectly! When you tighten down the allen head screws, add a drop of thin oil to each allen head first. Also, adjust the plastic expanding washer to where it fits in the cut out in its body. I had to use a small flat blade screwdriver to hold it in place while tightening, so it wouldn't spin. This will help the plastic washer to expand more, and become tighter in the rail.

This is a very well made product, heavy materials. Incra has a reputation for quality. BUT, you need to set it up. On my Sawstop, the bar was quite loose in the miter slot, and I had to tighten the nylon adjusters along the bar a lot. One hint I got from another was to oil the allen bolts that tighten the nylon adjusters. Otherwise you might snap them off (I recommend this step). Worked great for months but just recently I noticed that it was out of square to the slots and blade. I adjusted and tried, and it was dead on, then drifted again. I realized the adjustment plate and lower plate were slipping. Shiny metal on shiny metal, not a surprise. I took them apart and glued some 220 sandpaper to the bottom of the adjuster plate. Reset and tightened and now it's tight. We'll see if it holds (This sandpaper thing usually does the trick). Only other quibble is it's heavy (But maybe that's necessary, right?), and when I pull it back far enough, it drops below the table surface and I have to lift it up a tiny bit to reengage. I'm not yet sure if it's superior to a crosscut sled for 90s. If you do a lot of angled cuts, it's hard to beat. Read the manual re how to set it up. I'd buy this one again. Recommended.

Writing this review after just setting up the new Incra V27 miter gauge on my Bosch 4100XC. Took about 15 minutes total to get it fully adjusted and squared up. Like other reviewers have said, the 3/32nds hex screws to adjust the expansion rings really are too small. Even for the same size screw there must be alternatives available that accept a larger hex key. That said, I think the problems people have had tightening those hex screws is that a little lubrication is needed to keep the screws from binding too much in the expansion ring countersinks. I put a tiny dab of silicone grease on the ring countersinks and that helped the tightening process a lot. Like the instructions say, you do need to apply a decent amount of force to expand the rings sufficiently to remove any side to side play, so that little bit of silicone grease did the trick. I'd also say to be careful in how you hold the hex key so it doesn't twist too much and snap. Be sure the short end is fully seated in the screw, put your thumb at the right angle bend and several fingers along the length of the long arm of the key. This all helps distribute the force you're applying evenly along the entire key and should keep it from bending too much or snapping. I also tried to pull a little more with my index finger (closest to the right angle bend) and less at the end of the key to avoid twisting the key too much. Doing these things, I had no problem expanding the rings the needed amount and making fine adjustments to get the fit just right. After adjusting the expansion rings, I used a Woodpeckers 1281 square and feeler gauges to square the miter gauge to the slot. It was off about 8 thousandths, but I was able to square it to within 2 thousandths (smallest feeler gauge I have). The face of the miter gauge was square to the surface of my saw table (again within 2 thousandths) so no adjustments needed there. Finally, I had to snug up the screw that holds the T-slot adaptor at the front of the bar, which was no big deal.I'll add a strip of Baltic birch plywood as a fence from some scrap that I have and it should be good to go. The stock miter gauge that came with my saw was basically useless. Rudimentary angle adjustments, no way to easily add a fence, and the bar is undersized relative to the miter slot with no way to take up the slop. Even without adding a fence, this new miter gauge will be a nice upgrade without spending a ton of money. Will see if it performs as well as it looks.

I ordered this miter gauge and have been using it on my Dewalt dwe7480 table saw. So far I love this thing! It was super easy to set up, calibrate, and get right down to business. I only have one complaint, but that is with the table saw, not the miter.Pros:1. It is very easy to set up this mitre. as long as you have a carpenter's square and about 5 minutes you are ready to go. Loosen four screws, align the mitre to the blade, and tighten the screws and you are fully adjusted on the mitre.2. It fits very snugly without any play in the miter guide slot. This miter gauge will work with either t-groove or plain groove miter slots, all you have to do is remove one screw to get it into the plain slot like my saw has. Once it was in, I used the included allen wrench to tighten down the snug circles (there are four in total) and after that I was left with a mitre that moves smoothly without any side to side play. I was extremely impressed. You do need to really put quite a bit of elbow grease into the screws, but the expanding circles do a wonderful job of getting everything set very nicely and securly in the groove.3. Adjusting the angle is super simple, super fast, and super accurate. I measured a few different angles with a protractor and square and they were all right on. I was super impressed. Simply loosen two easy to reach set knobs and you are ready to change your miter. Tighten them back down and you are ready to go.Con:The only con I had was with the verticle square. The instructions said it was perfectly adjusted out of the box, but my square indicated that it was slightly out of square. Luckily, even the verticle adjustment is super easy to do, and within ten minutes I had the whole thing set up. This single con was not enough to cause me to lower the rating. All in all I am super happy with this miter gauge. If I was ever in the market for another one, you can bet I would come back here. The price was also very reasonable for what I would call a fine tool.
