Very pretty thin box chain! Listed as 18k over sterling and it looks it - that seems accurate. It's a nice shade of gold - yellow * bright. At the end of the chain is a small attachment lawith the words "italy & 925 on it indicating as much. Heads up - 16" really is "choker" length - can't remember why I selected it, but it's too short for me; wish I'd gotten 18 or more. Still - this appears to be exactly the quality promised and for the price I definitely can't compain! I would buy another similarly labeled item from this company... Perhaps startign with a longer chain

This is a nice chain. The sizing is good and the chain itself is pretty. It is very dainty and you need to be careful with it. The clasp works so it is pretty easy to take on and off. It would be difficult to use if you have arthritis or a similar condition. The price seems fair for the quality level. I would recommend this chain as an inexpensive but nice looking piece of jewelry.

I have a larger neck, so most of the time when I but a necklace at a store, like the kind that might be in a small box, the chain will be too small or cheap and I have to get a larger one. This was available in 24 inches, and its perfect. A good quality chain, strong. Will be perfect for some of my pendants that needed new chains. Will probably purchase again, but I do wish they offered some in larger sizes, too.

This chain is tiny… I guess I read the description wrong because it’s toddler sized. It is stamped “Italy 925” but it looks like a child stamped it, the script is not delicate and looks cheap. Only time will tell. But for the price of $12.99 I guess you really can’t expect too much.

I ordered the J.Endéar Italian 925 Sterling Silver Box Chain Necklace,1.2mm 18K Gold Plated Nickel-Free Hypoallergenic Thin & Sturdy Chain, with 'You're Awesome' Inspirational Card included as a gift for my 15 year old daughter. She is definitely getting into fine jewelry and has so many "delicate/fine" chains, but nothing substantial. So, I picked this up to give her options. The price was reasonable, and I know from experience that box chains are an excellent choice as they are sturdier than a lot of chains on the market. I come from an era when gold used to be affordable. Opening this package, I felt like I was back in my Gold Heyday. The chain sparkles and shines like a "real" gold piece, it feels substantial, and looks like a magnificent chain, even without anything on it! I ordered the 16" length. My daughter will love it, I am thrilled with it, and even appreciate the lovely gift box and romance card included. A lot of look and nice packaging for a chain I spent under $20 for, that is sturdy, hearty, and lovely. Recommend.

The color of this chain is a bit darker/greyer than i expect from sterling silver. The color matches stainless steel chains that I own. However the color can vary because of the plating so I am still giving this chain 5 stars for now because, although the color looks a bit off to me, i dont really know whether that means anything.Otherwise, the clasp works well, the chain has good fluid flexibility with no kinks, and it seems well made.The metal is shiny with no spots or blemishes.So far i am happy with it! The real test of whether it is truly sterling silver or not will be once it tarnishes- if it polishes like silver then it is silver, but if it is stainless steel it wont polish from silver polish.I will update this review in a year if i can remember.
