I was in a rush and this product provided me extra capacity for my Canon 6D Mark II camera.The bad news is.... al batteries suddenly died after a year. Honestly, I would expect at least to years of service.

I've been using these for a few months now in my Canon 80D. They do seem to have high capacity, and it's convenient to be able to charge it with a cable If I'm not around a charger.

After taking a major $ soaking on the beautiful/Hi-Tech R5's SD/CFE cards...plus battery grip, I decided to try Kastar's LP-E6N (note Amazon.com's description does not identify the R or R5 as compatible) based on my previous experience w/Kastar on various cameras and accessories. I paid about $33 for 3 batteries and charger from KastarUSA1. I used my Canon charger (the Kastar charger was a "kit" USB charger...it worked, but very slow). Initially tested the Kastar's on my Canon EOS R & grip and both batteries registered 100%. After quite a few tests, there were no compatibility/performance issues with the EOS R so I Installed the batteries in the R5's battery grip. The R5 registered both batteries and no compatibility or performance issues after a few days of shooting (photo/video). I'm very pleased with the performance of the Kastar LP-E6N, but I acknowledge Canon's battery has a greater life span and perhaps more durable. HOWEVER...you can buy 6-7 Kastar LP-E6Ns for the price of 1 Canon LP-E6N. It's too bad we can't find similar deals on SD and CFE cards (manf price gouge of the century)! I'm not a Kastar employee or affiliated...I just appreciate quality products at decent prices with exceptional customer support--Kastar's mantra!
