Arrived with 1/4 of the cans severely smashed, and another 1/4 of the cans with large dents. Some in the last 1/2 of the cans had smaller dents.I did not order nor pay for a case of seconds.

Finally!! My dog won't eat anything! Now, he won't stop going back to his bowl to make sure he got it all.

My large dog, a 75lb GSD/Husky, LOVES this kangaroo dog food. I make him "wait" for his meals, while I mixed it and then allow him to eat. The smell of this food makes it difficult for him to maintain control and actually wait, without being reminded, when I feed him this food. He eats every bit of his meal too. I've been using it as a topper/mixer for his kibble. He's been known to be a picky eater but this seems to be his favorite food. He also has a sensitive GI system and he has had no issues while on this food.My little Boston, on the other hand, wasn't much of a fan of this food at first. Though, she is normally finicky with new foods. She eats it but doesn't seem to enjoy it as much as my larger dog. Being a Boston, she can be gassy especially with changes in diet. I haven't noticed any negative effects with her and, in fact, I'd say she seems a little less flatulent and pungent. This food seems to be very high quality dog food and has had a positive effect on my dogs. If you're using it as a topper/mixer, as I am, a can could last for several meals. (Depending on your dog's size.) I use part of a can then place a silicone lid on the can, to seal it, and place the can in the fridge and serve the remaining for their next meal. If you have a single dog, or a small dog a large can could last you a few days using it this way. Using it as a topper, also, makes it less cost prohibited.

I ordered this grain free dog food, because my little Penny has allergies that make her skin itchy. The vet recommended grain free dog food without fillers. When I ordered these cans of this premium dog food, I really didn't know what to expect. I just knew that it was going to be the best quality dog food my little dog had ever eaten. It's certainly the most expensive. Because of the cost, I chose to use it as a topper/mix-in with some of her regular dog food. When I opened the first can, I was struck by two things.1. I thought it smelled really bad.2. It was a thick paste packed firmly into the can.I thought that it was going to be something chunky, but I guess I didn't interpret the photo correctly.I mixed some in with my dog's food, then I offered the spoon to Penny to lick. I know, I know; but, it goes into the dishwasher. She wouldn't lick the spoon. Hmm... I didn't know what to think about that. After mixing some into her food, she did eat it out of her dish and licked it clean as seen in the photo. The bowl went into the dishwasher, too. ~smile~ Penny seemed to like it well enough.I put the leftovers into a jar for the next day. I was able to stretch the food for a couple of days. My cat ran out of food, and I gave him a couple of tablespoons. He liked it.So, the animals seem to like it. But, I was put off by the smell and the texture.
