Regular Maintenance

The camping mug is very stylish. The wood quality looks great and does not chip. Its easy to maintain.The holding stem could have been better, but that's the raw style! Its a cute little coffee mug can be easily given to kids with any preferred juices.

I am enjoying this cup and so far it has started several intriguing conversations amongst my family members and friends. It's carved from wood and holds water for drinking, just as one would expect. The finger holes give you plenty of leverage and the additional carabiner would be handy to attach to a backpack, belt, or other gear for cosplay, camping, etc. I wish I knew how to carve with this kind of quality. No splinters received!

I love the concept of kuksa mugs and have been wanting to carve my own for a while, but this one looked nice for use until I do that. The overall quality is very good - perfectly carved and sanded. The wood is beautful and it doesn't change the flavor of the coffee. It feels quite durable. However, I'm the type that drinks three 14oz mugs of coffee in the morning and this one, filled to the brim might be 7oz. It just doesn't hold enough. For that reason, it's lost one star and only comes out when I'm drinking someone else's coffee around the morning campfire. In those situations this mug does receive compliments.

Love this little kuksa...The Sami people whittle these...so the Scandinavian connection is cool.I don't think that a Sami reindeer herder whittled this one...but that's OK.Nice materials...nicely finished.I looked up kuksa on the internet...and there's quite a bit of information about them.Doesn't get hot with hot liquids...and it's not very heavy to include in your bushcraft gear.This is a cool piece of gear...and...being of Norwegian ancestry...I loved the Scandinavian connection.Good cup!

I like traditional things and keep things like this around for cozy camping. Something about it is just better than anything plastic, even if it isn't the most practical cup you could take with you. The wood is pretty, is waterproofed already, and is comfortable to use. If you're into this sort of thing, you'll like it.

Comfortable to use, sturdily built, and good looking for a costume piece. It smells like most stained-wood products ordered online, so give it a thorough soap-and-water scrub down on arrival and let it air-out/off-gas a few days before you drink from it. Looks great!

From the way it fits my hand, to the texture, to the smell of the wood, I love this. You can't ask for much more than drinking a hot tea outdoors on a crisp fall day, and this is the perfect accessory to that.
