I first tried the more popular Sporgain sharpener, and upon arrival I was disappointed to see the "dual ball bearings" were actually one, and the other was a rivet with nylon washer. The joints were also plastic pop riveted into a hollow metal arm. I found this item for a little more money, and it probabky weighs twice as much as the other cheaper product. There are actual ball bearings used in the solid steel arms. This think is rock solid and I see no weak points like the other more popular brand. And to top it off, it came with a heavy Duty blade balancer. Take my word, this one is the one to buy if you want a true copy of the more expensive USA made product.

It works great! The arm is pretty sturdy, maybe a slight wobble, but I don't think it's enough to affect it's functionality. The balancer works well enough. I had to tighten it's axle slightly. It is also slightly off balance, so I just let it level itself before attaching the blade so that it's even. Then I test the blade's balance both that way, and upside down.

Every DIY’er needs this. I finish mow 8 acres weekly and have a farm that produces hay. Should’ve purchased this thing long ago. Takes longer to remove blades from mower(s) than to sharpen. Must have!
