Doesn't work. You're better off just buying new blades instead of trying to sharpen your old ones

Not great for sharping you blade unless you have a bench top vise. Wear gloves and watch the kick back if you use a drill without the vise.

They DO work, but very time consuming on quality blades. Best for balancing

My RamblingsI'm not a huge, perfectly manicured, green grass, free of weeds, landscaping guy. I prefer the southwest look with rocks, sand, and poisonous things. That being said, I keep it nice for my neighborhood. So Let's take a closer look at my new sharpening friend. To the Point or TL;DRIt sharpens and is Homeowner friendly. The guide is helpful and didn't fall apart during use. Very durable (see before/after pic). Great value. It is way cheaper than that $50-$75/year expense from the local small engine guy. Now I'm that guy... well my kids are. Easy enough for supervised teenagers to operate (yes, with proper eye protection, gloves, long pants..), Probably sharpens more than just lawnmower blades. The Good StuffThis was super simple to use and I'm sure I didn't get the angle just right, but my blade is blinking sharp. It bounced around a little until I got the speed right, but then it was easy sharpening. I was surprised at the durability of the blue plastic(?) guide. I expected it to come apart quickly, but it shows no signs of failure any time soon. Easy enough that I let the kids help me (they had a blast). Plus gives you an opportunity to do safety classes beforehand.Overall, really like that I found this. It solved the cost & transport problem of yearly blade servicing and you could see the shivering fear of those little grass blades as I started the motor with that sharp blade. Mmmmmmuuuuhahahahahaha! The Bad StuffCan't think of one. It did it's job, was simple and straight forward.Who May Use/Like ItThose liking to do things for themselves, and want to save some Dollars, Euros, Seashells, Glass Beads on blade sharpening.Me Final ThoughtsI always dreaded getting out my files to sharpen this blade and outsourced it for years, but now... I will always have a sharp blade during the cutting months. Wonder what else can I sharpen with it?!?That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Hope it helps! All the best, Just BenjaminReviewed: Brand: Surlveia Cost: $8.99 at time of review.Add what you reviewed here.Lawnmower Blade Sharpener, 2024 New Mower Blade Sharpener, Quality Double Layer Corundum Lawn Mower Blade Sharpener, Lawnmower Dull Blade Sharpener for Any Power Hand Drill (3Pcs-Blue)

This is a good set of single-stone sharpeners. Does a great job of sharpening the blades without taking them off the mower.
