The lantern is exactly what a wanted . The lantern has a nice warm glow to it and several setting for brightness ,not the white light that to me is not very relaxing when camping. So far I’m happy with the purchase . As for how long it last for a charge hasn’t been tested yet . I will add results later .

Bought this for my Grandson, and He Absolutely Loves it ! It is about 2/3rd.s the size of a camp lantern, and has a similar light temperature to a gas lamp, giving it a homey camp feel without the heat and fire hazard. It is perfect for a young person who want's the "feel" without the hassle. Perfect for under-blanket "Fort's" and scary closets. This is one gift, I'm pretty sure I'll be revisiting!

This lantern is adorable in an old-school kind of way. It appears to be well made, quite sturdy, and it throws a lot of light! My issue is that I apparently received the unit with the bad attitude. It doesn't appear to fully charge and does not work when unplugged, kind of negating the purpose of an emergency or camping lantern. I am outside the return period, so I'm out of luck in that regard (clearly, I did that part to myself). I contacted the seller to see if maybe there's a work-around, but they haven't returned my message. If the battery worked properly, I can see how this would be a great little lantern. So, I can't give it 5-stars because it doesn't work (but if it did, I probably would add that last and final star).
