These telescopic LED lanterns are great! This one and another that I already have will allow me to set one on both sides of camping areas to provide an even better illumination of the entire campsite. The runtime on a freshly charged battery is impressive.Construction quality is good and they are waterproof as well!

I originally ordered this to keep with my trailer for camping, but have changed what I use it for.The day it showed up, I was getting ready to cook some steaks outside on the grill and needed a little extra light. The multiple lights in this worked great! I was able to set this next to my grill on my deck and angle it towards the cooking surface. With so many lights, different ways to use it whether it’s on a stand or hanging from the hook, this is a must have!!

I'm a convert to these new style Telescopic Rechargeable Camp Lanterns. This FAITIO version gives you a great compact lantern that should give you 1-7 nights of light in camp on a single charge, or be a good emergency light and backup power source. The lantern is about 12" high X 2.5" diameter when packed down. I weighs 1lb. 12 oz., which makes it good for car/RV camping, a little heavy for backpacking. It will extend anywhere between 13"-38" high, we usually set ours on our game table or a side table. The bottom features three legs that extend out to form a stable support tripod. Three stakes are included should you wish to stake down the base, I've never needed them.Don't let the small 2.5" diameter LED light fool you, it packs a punch, on higher settings it will light up a large camp picnic table. You get a remote control, which I never use.You have an ambient light, if you choose, that can change colors and flash should you wish to convert your camp site to a disco. No thanks.Useful features include a few lighting levels to choose from, and a choice of a warm, yellowish light that may help decrease the number of kamikaze bugs, or a very bright light if maximum lighting is needed. We find that even on the lowest settings, the lantern, when set on the game table provides good light for our board games. It will last several nights before needing a recharge in our trailer. You can recharge the lantern via the included USB to USB-C cable, you can also recharge your phone or other low power devices with the USB connection.I couldn't find a power rating for this lantern, the better ones will offer a 10,000 Mah or higher battery.Be sure to get organized and give all your rechargeable devices a full charge just before taking off on your you next trip.

The box is labeled Optimus Prime, but between the feet and the telescoping "eye," this thing gives me R2-D2 vibes all day long. It even looks light-saberish when everything is put back together. Sweet.Let's start at the beginning. At first glance, this looks like a large flashlight. An on/off switch lights up the end and cycles through various intensities. The RBG button (above the on/off button) allows you to change the light to blue, red, or green. You can even use the included carabiner to hang upside down for a hands-free option (see pic). Then it morphs.... underneath, a button frees up 3 little legs, turning the flashlight into a tripod / rocket. But wait, there's more! The light disk at the end of the flashlight telescopes until it becomes a 5 foot tall (ish) tripod-rocket-robot with a glowing eye. The eye (aka light disc) also pivots at the base, allowing you to go from up-light to tiny spotlight. If that's not enough, a remote control offers more color and dimming options (batteries not included). I don't feel the need to have R2 shine hot pink, but he's ready and waiting if need be.Now for the dark side...I'm not sure about its longevity. After one use, I'm already having trouble with one of the feet; it keeps popping out after I've clicked it back into place. Also, the light isn't super bright. With all of its maneuvers, it's still just a small flashlight. You'll want a lantern or something bigger for your camping table. I will update this review if needed, but I'm hopeful this will be a long-term addition to the camping kit.

This lantern is so cool and it works great! It's kind of futuristic and very techy. Everyone that sees it has to walk over and check it out. Your fellow campers will definitely have Gear Envy when they see it.It's also very easy to pack and it provides a very good amount of light. The telescoping feature makes it super useful. You can aim the light all to one side to illuminate a project; cutting wood, cleaning a game animal, or changing a car tire for example. You can also raise the light height up and light up your table for meals or games after dark. The adjustable light mode is not something that I personally use much, but I think it would be fun to use at a party or around a campfire with a festive atmosphere.

This 8" cordless LED telescopic camping lamp is impressively compact and easy to pack, making it ideal for travel. Despite its small size, the light output is bright and effective for campsite use. The battery life is excellent, lasting through extended use without needing frequent recharges. A solid, practical choice for campers looking for portability and performance.
