Your cart is empty.The Lee short charging die is for use with the Lee auto-disk, Pro auto-disk and auto-drum powder measure. Designed to work with cases .860 to 1.760" long (22 Hornet to 223 Rem), and bullet diameter .223 and larger due to powder bridging. The rifle charging die works the same as the pistol powder through expanding die, except it doesn't expand the case mouth. Rifle case expansion is done in the sizing die. For cases 1.760 to 2.620" long, use the long charging die. Steel die comes packaged in a plastic storage case. Shellholder sold separately. My first time use this type of powder charging die. It was easy to set up and use. I am surprised how well it was to set up . I am familiar with the flaring charging die. This one is different than what I am using. Simple, easy but effective.

Used it with the lee auto disk powder measure and not sure if it’s the expander die or the powder measure but something is causing it to leak a good amount of powder every so often.
