pH Decreaser lowers the pH of your pool or hot tub to protect your equipment from damage that can occur due to improper pH. Use pH Decreaser to help prevent cloudy spa water due to high pH. Proper pH balance is critical to make sure sanitizers and shocks work effectively. pH and Total Alkalinity that is too high can lead to scale deposits that damage your equipment, inhibit the effectiveness of your sanitizers, and can cause skin irritation or rashes.

Test your water regularly
Check for Alkalinity, pH, and Calcium levels
Use test strips or a testing kit to determine the current levels in your spa. The ideal pH for your hot tub water is within the range of 7.4-7.6. pH measures how acidic or basic the water is. If pH is too low, the water can become corrosive and damage equipment. A pH that is too high can lead to cloudy water and make it difficult to maintain proper sanitation. Add pH Increaser or Decreaser to bring the water to the proper pH level.
