This dock worked immediately after connecting it to my ThinkPad. I used a premium USB C cable with a 90ā° connector on one end to connect to the laptop to reduce the footprint of the laptop (I have a very busy desktop). The Ethernet link is very fast. Picture transfers from my cameras via USB 3.2 is quick.The laptop charges as quickly as it does on its supplied charger.I'm impressed on being able to charge the laptop, transfer files with my external hard drive, offload pictures, connect to my ham radio equipment, and connect to my Gigabit LAN with only one USB C connection to my computer.If I had one wish, it would be to have USB 3.2 on all of the USB A connectors instead of three.

I needed a docking base to add more displays for my office. This device is perfect for my thinkpad. It allows you to dock your laptop and add extra monitors. I was able to add 2 additional monitors and use the laptop monitor as my third screen. A great feature to this dock is you are able to add a hardline port for your internet as well as having additional USB ports for added accessories or flash drives.

I ordered this because I know Lenovo makes decent quality laptops, even though we currently have an LG laptop. This let me setup a desk with docking station that allows my wife and I to easily sit down and swap out either our personal laptops or work laptops. It's functioned perfectly to let us use the display, keyboard and mouse all while charging.

The version I got looks slightly different than the photos. My version has both HDMI and Display Port connections for both monitors while the version shown here only does this with one monitor and the other monitor only has a Display Port. I like this dock because it works with both Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers and I have both. It also offers both a USB-A and USB-C options which is nice since not all computers have USB-C. I already had the DisplayLink software installed on my computer so installing this device was a snap and there was no fuss. The device was recognized immediately using Plug and Play. It worked flawlesslyn and the USB-C 3.0 ports on the device were fast.

Its works only with Lenovo. I saw another brands working with different brands, but I wasn't able to do it with this. Is a good piece, well constructed , all accessories ready to go.
