I don’t know what is wrong with this particular base, but other ones from the same company have been fine in the past. This one lets water leak out somehow, and I have to keep a really close eye on it so the chicks don’t end up thirsty with no water!!!

I know it doesn't look like much, but I just got 6 chicks and they always spill the water, THEN I remember my husband use to use this item. Unable to find locally -= thanks to the online sellers
