I have used fountain pens and various dip pens, including glass pens for artwork and calligraphy for over 40 years. This pen is real glass and importantly, has a wider grip than any other glass pen you can find on amazon. Compared to J. Herbie glass dip pens, these are a little heavier, since the body is thicker. The glass nib holds a good amount of ink and the nib makes a fine line. Great for artwork and calligraphy. You can tell that these pens are made by someone who knows what they are doing. Not the exquisite quality of a hand made Japanese glass pen, but then again you are paying only a fraction of the cost. Well worth it, you will not regret it.

Most glass pens are borderline obscene, but got this pen for its subtler design- as it turns out, makes quite a good grip. Comes with a little bag, has held up so far, works as intended.

Nothing about this pen was good. I actually had to throw it out. Maybe it's just a lemon, but even after I tried to fine tune the nib with sand paper it was almost like the glass was incapable of holding ink with the friction it should have aling the whole (short) dip body. The ink would be blotched along the length of the nib almost like the glass had an anti-ink coating on it. I've never even reviewed a product on Amazon before, but this was a terrible purchase (or terrible luck).On the flipside....just received my $10 (3)-pen set by Zonon from Amazon, and they are all great out of the package (slightly sharp edges that I'll fix). I could barely write the ink off after one(1) dip in the ink. You might get lucky with this Loliz, but I would pass.

It fits really well in your hand! I bought this for acrylic ink details in my watercolors. Yes, I know I could use a deer foot, fan, wisp or fine liner, but I prefer my details to end up EXACTLY where I want them, and this works great for me!

I really liked the dip pen. The back can be used for swatching ink and the front is fairly smooth. I wish there was some sort of cap for the tip but that wasn't an option. My favorite versatile glass dip pen.

Love this pen. I really like how think the pen is where you hold it. It writes thinly and smooth.
