TIME-SERT is a solid bushing insert. This facilitates easy installation and allows for full torque to be applied to repaired threads, ensuring a strong, permanent repair. TIME-SERT is thin walled due to synchronized internal / external threads. Small outer diameter allows for installation in areas where clearance is critical. TIME-SERT is self-positioning. The flange on the top of the insert will insure that the insert cannot wind down into the newly repaired hole. TIME-SERT is self locking. On installation the bottom internal threads of the insert expand to lock the insert in place.

Amazing product! Thank you a million times over to whoever invented this system. Ingenious and way way better than Hielicoil system for thread repair of stripped out spark plug holes. Rock solid and saved me thousands.Unbeknown to me, a spark plug in my daily driver was comming loose and didnt hear anything until it stripped all the threads out of the cylinder head. I was panicking as i didnt want to have the whole cylinder head replaced. I was nervous but was able to use this Timesert system after studying up and do the repair myself in just a few hours. Has held up perfect now for about 6 years.

This should be the first insert people should try first because it's the thinnest wall insert I have found.You have 2 more sizes to fall back on if this size strips too. Where as if the others brands strips you have to remove the head.

This is a fantastic insert. I thought the job would be a pain, but less than an hour later I was back on the road. I've put about 10k on it since, and no problems so far. The tool is a little pricey, but its worth the right tool for the job!

Ordered 2 sets and received one. Couldn't believe how much the shipping charges were. Way too high. Parts are ok though. I'm not a DIYer, an actual shop looking for sources. The search continues...........

Used on 86' Honda Accord for previously stripped spark plug threads, probably from previous owner taking vehicle to oil change place to change plugs w/ impact, therefore cross threading.

I was concerned that this wouldn't work, but with the proper tool to do the install, it worked fantastic and is still working. Good buy!
