These socks are a very soft material and a comfortable fit; Farm To Feet is my favorite brand, but these are not far behind.

These socks are nicely light-weight but very durable.

These are a nice sock - an interesting hybrid between a dress sock and wool sock which is great for those us wanting more naturally occurring fabrics in our casual use socks with loafers or sneakers instead of their thicker hiking socks. I've found their fit to be true to size but their percentage of wool has only gone down since I started wearing Maggie's which makes them less worth the price in my mind. For the right price, I would recommend them but their advertised fabric make up differs on the product from this page. See photo on product.

So comfortable!I’m a heavy female, shoe = Women’s 10 wide. I usually look for men’s shoes and sox for walking/hiking; all sports. These are the most comfortable fit. The top band is snug, not binding. I’m ordering 3 more pairs. These are lightweight and I can’t say enough about the fit.

got these for my husband. He is a blue collar worker on his feet and wears work boots all day. I personally like that they are made from organic wool and made in the USA. We got the size large. He is a size 11 shoe.Right off the bat there were no negatives. Perhaps that they are more suited for fall and winter. They are comfortable and provide cushioning in all the right places. They did not make his feet sweat which he expected due to the end thickness. They felt dry all day. There also was no stinky foot odor and said he could wear them a second day. The stitching is well done with no points of irritation. They didn’t fall or shift. Plus they look nice although his boots covered them. They would be nice with a pair of jeans and loafers or gym shoes.

Got the size large, which is tight. I am a women's size 9.5, or men's 7.5. No extra width or length - these are tight. Don't know how a man with normal feet would wear these. The ankle cuff is also tight, and leaves marks. I have small ankles. The size chart says it should fit a women's 10-13.A shame, as the actual quality of wool is very good compared to other wool socks I've tried lately. Much more wool than most, and a nice padded feel without a lot of bulk. So good fabric quality, sizing way off.

I'd never heard of Maggie's Organics before getting these socks (but they've been around since 1992). While it's certainly not the deal-breaker that organic vs non-organic can be when I'm purchasing food/produce, IF given the choice between socks that are organically sourced and those that are not, then I would lean towards the organic. A huge price difference might steer me away, but in this case it looks like Maggie's socks are competitively priced with the other more popular sock brands (eg those you'd find at the Recreational stores) that make merino wool hikers.I got the dark green ankle socks. They are actually quite dark (unless very well-lit it's hard to discern the green from the black accents), which I like. I looked them over very closely & found no flaws nor any irregularities.I'm a Men's 8 and ordered the Large: this pair fit me very well, with a tiny amount of extra room making me quite confident that I won't have to worry about shrinkage (especially given that I never put anything but my cheap-o white cotton crews in the dryer). The Large supposedly fits Men's 8-12, but the way these fit me you might be cautious about buying these if your feet any greater than size 10 or 10 and a half (unless they happen to make them in XL).I put on my trail shoes yesterday evening and took a 45 minute hike with these socks on; they felt extremely comfortable, and I can't imagine having any problems with them on trail runs or on longer hikes. I will come back and edit this review if I encounter any unusual problems with these after a couple of washes, but at this point I'm very happy with these socks and will seek to purchase some more!
