Install does require some fabrication to connect header pipe, front catalytic converter, and main catalytic converter. Fabrication by either welding or metal cutting and bending.

I had error code p2198 and P0430 on a ford expedition 5.4 engine, this SUV has 4 Cats, I replace the first two and remove the other ones Error code disappeared.Great replacement.

Both the Amazon "garage" parts-match program and the manufacturer assured me that this was the correct replacement part for my front catalytic converter. If it weren't for the very skilled and creative talents of the man who installed it, it never would've fit. I still don't know what the correct part is, but this isn't it. Keep looking.
