It certainly does what I need it to do. I clearly did not examine it closely before purchasing as I was expecting SAE measurement, not metric. However, it serves my purpose either way. Would have given 5 stars if it were in US measurement or both would have been fine too. Perhaps it is offered in either and I didn’t notice. In summary, look closely at the details before you order.

It would be nice to have a digital gauge, but in lieu of that . . . this one is super. It's sturdy, positive in feel, and very, very handy for many height applications: table saw blade, router bit position, etc.

The gauge works perfectly, solid locking and well finished. Only issue is that it does not clearly indicate in the listing that this only has Metric markings, not Imperial. So as long as you are okay with Centimeters vs. Inches, it is a great tool.
