There really isn’t a better catcher’s mitt than this. My daughter is a 16U catcher and deserves the best. Made in Texas, highest quality.It is not game-ready but easy to break in. A couple weeks of heavy use, and it is perfect.

Back in 2015 I bought this mitt. My daughter has played high level softball for 4 years with it. She took the best care with It and oiled regularly and kept the sand out of it. It took a beating behind the plate, and in practice. Thousands of catches with it. She loves it so much she wanted the same glove again. Nothing is indestructible. She has worn the leather almost through. If play you a lot and play hard it is the way to go.

Bought this for my 14 year old daughter about 14 months ago. Loved that it was American made and thought it would last for years. She didn't use it for 4 to 6 months cause she never invested the time to break it in. So after less then a years worth of use it has a tear in the leather. I should have stuck with the cheap mitts
