The boots are comfortable. One of the lace hooks snapped on the first day wearing them but I can work around that. Overall, decent for the money.

Bought these for work, these are not slip resistant or waterproof, I almost fell multiple times , a problem I didn’t have with other boot. Would not recommend.

I got these boots for my husband. These boots are waterproof having stepped through large puddles after a recent downpour. My husband wears his shoes pretty hard having scuffed the toes of multiple pairs of sneakers that have that webbed outer shell. These boots have scraped a few rocks but still, look fairly new.The downside to these boots, according to my husband is that they are a bit slippery on wet surfaces. Not so with his other sneakers or previous boots. But these boots are not listed as slip-resistant anyway. These boots also feel heavier than my husband's old Skechers work boots. Another negative is the insole is thin. There is some cushion on the heel and not so much in the toe area.My husband wears a size 12 and these fit. He said there is a bit more room in the toe box than he had expected, but also said it has been a pleasant surprise. They look nice and are somewhat comfortable if not worn all day long. Overall, my husband said he'd rate these boots a 3.8 but would bump it up if they had a bit more cushioning.

As soon as I saw a pair of waterproof boots pop up, I knew I had to give them a try. Additionally, these looked to be excellent quality based on what I could tell about the company and product description. Needless to say, I was not at all disappointed when I received them. They look excellent and are extremely comfortable to wear. I typically wear between 11 1/2 - 12 shoes and I went with 12s for these. I will say, I wish I had stuck with the 11 1/2s as these are not big, but leave just slightly more room for my feet to move around than I would prefer for hiking boots (this is an issue on my ordering, not on the sizing, but if you typically run in a range of sizes, I recommend going for the middle to lower end of your size range). I have worn them for multiple days, lots of walks, and a mountain hike and have found them extremely comfortable. They are a tad bit on the heavy side (but not any heavier than other quality boots, certainly not to a level that would cause a star deduction). They also look great; I have received quite a few compliments on them since I started wearing them. If you are in the market for a new pair of boots, dont let the price fool you, these are great quality!

I do quite a bit of walking and hiking and was looking for a waterproof pair of shoes that I could use in the winter during inclement weather. I was impressed with the write-up on these shoes as well as the modest price and decided to give them a chance. These are a very nice looking pair of shoes, even stylish, with contrasting laces that add a bit of flair. Besides looking good, they are very comfortable, and I was able to put them on and walk extensively with no break-in necessary. They make for very good winter shoes as one navigates water and slush during daily activities. They are not, however, in my view, serious hiking shoes. They have decent treads and good padding around the ankles, but the soles are a bit soft for really serious hiking. I added a firm in-sole to stiffen up the feel, and, with two pairs of socks on, have made them into what I consider a decent pair of day hikers. I would not use these on a long, strenuous hike, but for ordinary terrain, with my tweaking, they do fine. I guess at this price point I should have not expected more, but I wanted to flag the point that, despite the promotional materials on Amazon, these tilt more towards the fashionable than serious athletic gear. For what they are, they are fine. Just don't expect the performance of a high-end hiking shoe. I expect, however, to get my money's worth out them this winter with no problem. One last quibble I want to make is about the vague way the description of the shoes on Amazon can leave the impression that they are made of leather. They are, as the blurb states once, "PU leather", which is, of course, synthetic. At other times the promotional material leaves the impression that these are real leather shoes, which is not the case. This product is not the only one to use the word "leather" loosely; I see it frequently for furniture coverings and jackets. Nevertheless, I would vastly prefer companies be upfront about what their products really are. In fact, for my purposes, PU leather might be better than real leather for making the shoes waterproof. I just find the obfuscation a bit off-putting.
