This feels like a solid splitter to turn a single 3-prong outlet into three. It feels heavy and solid and the contacts are gold colored. It securely plugs into an outlet without wobble and the three outlets have good spring tension and securely hold whatever we plug in (grounded, polarize, or non-polarized).While the primary designs is to multiply a single outlet, I actually use it on a power strip with the sole purpose to plug in a bulky adapter or charger that would otherwise not fit between the adjacent plugs. This unit raises one outlet sufficiently to avoid interference. Another use would be to utilize it as a 90 degree adapter to get around an obstruction.The device weights about 52 grams and there is no obvious way to disassemble and look inside. The two shell pieces are securely held together.It is UL listed and rated at 15A (126V, 1875W) and thus suitable for most typical use. If used with 3 hair dryers or space heaters, we will trip the breaker and it is obviously important to add up the wattage of all plugged in devices to ensure it is safe and within the stated limits. This is common senses that applies to all multi-outlet splitters.Looks sturdy and well made. The case has a molded production date of 3/2025. All surface are clean and all edges nicely rounded. This is a great design to fit 3 plugs into a small area. Says it's UL listed but I tried to prove it based upon the sticker and I couldn't find anything online to verify it.
