It fit, it worked and I didn't have to go to the store to buy it. So it's a trifecta.

Purchased for a backup in for when the local power company has power surges that will cause the existing replacement to stop working. This transformer is identical to the one in use and the wiring matches for easy install when needed.Four stars given only due to the fact that it is not in use at this time.

If you need a replacement/backup/test HVAC air handler 240Vac/24Vac transformer then this product by Packard is exactly what you're looking for. Easy to wire up with no hum which means the coil windings are nice and tight!I bought two of these units, one as a backup/replacement and the other is wired for 120Vac for testing purposes for contactors, delay timers, etc. Here's how you wire the transformer up ....240Vac = White (COM) + Orange (240Vac) [Capped Off - Black (120Vac) & Red (208Vac)208Vac = White (COM) + Red (208Vac) [Capped Off - Black (120Vac) & Orange (240Vac)120Vac = White (COM) + Black (120Vac) [Capped Off - Red (208Vac) & Orange (240Vac)Secondary Winding = Red & Green wires = 24Vac (no load = 28.5Vac)*** The primary winding is one continuous wire coil that is tapped so don't try to wire this transformer in series or parallel unless you want to destroy it ***Excellent product and I would definitely buy again if needed π
