I struggled for several years trying to install crown molding without a jig like this, but found it very difficult to get the angles just right. After installing this device, making the perfect cuts became a breeze. I couldn't be happier. This sturdy little contraption is a must for me. It's inexpensive. It's quick and easy to install, quick and easy to remove, and works flawlessly. What else could I ask for?

I am a trim carpenter and have cut several miles of crown molding over the years. Using this device makes cutting crown so much easier. With only having to change the miter angle makes my job so much faster than having to change both miter and bevel angles.

This fits the DWS713 as well. That saw is not listed in the ad. Half the price of real DW crown tool.

The crown molding stops help hold the molding tight to the fence at the correct angle. Instead of being a 3 hand job, you can make accurate cuts with just one to operate the saw.
