I was being cheap and bought some third party batteries for my Lumix camera and to my surprise those batteries would not show the power meter in my camera display and drained very quickly. I tossed those batteries away and ordered the OEM battery. Don't trust your expensive gear to cheap non-OEM batteries.

Don't pay more for a Leica branded battery. These are just as good if not the same. Holds a long charge in my Leica Q. I've now got 2 of these. More than enough for a 4-5 hour shoot, or a full day or two of walk around street photography.

I have discovered that there are a lot of generic versions of this on Amazon. They have strange multi-character names that appear to have been randomly generated. If a given random name gets too many bad reviews or if FakeSpot determines that too many reviews are computer generated they just put the same product online with a different random name. I bought this as a spare and it worked fabulously on my recent trip.A few notes on Lithium batteries - When storing them, they like to be at 50% capacity. They do not like to be hot and they will not charge at low temperatures. They will also have a lower capacity if they are very cold. In the normal conditions that I used them (25-> 40C) they worked fabulously. Lumix makes a quality product.

Factory battery pack for the Panasonic FZ300 camera. I haven't tested the runtime in terms of number of photos or HD video length, but it seems to do the job well enough that I haven't noticed any issues with short battery runtime. I also haven't tested for capacity retention vs number of cycles, but again the battery seems to hold plenty of charge so far after maybe 20 cycles. Expensive though.

I bought two as additional backups for the eclipse (April 8). The original batteries (2014 vintage) charged up OK, but it's too important an event to rely on very old batteries! These work great, and are a welcome addition to my battery needs.

After we received the battery the camera said the battery was not compatible, but after minimal research and finding the firmware update with easy directions the batteries worked perfectly. The old batteries still work with new firmware. The batteries other then the firmware addition are the same and have the same outstanding battery life. Same great product with a little added time for doing the firmware. It's not plug and play but If you can use the Lumix camera then you are capable of doing the firmware.

I was very sceptical about getting this battery as I didn't want a cheap copy of a LUMIX battery that would fail in hours. I was assured by the supplier that it was genuine LUMIX so I took the gamble despite its very high cost. I am very please to say that it is a genuine LUMIX battery and it is hold its charge for a long time without fading in the way that a cheap copy would. I trust this supplier 100%.
