I really like this wavemaker because it looks clean and modern and it is a solid piece of equipment. It does move the water around enough for my situation. I am putting it in Petsmart Top Fin 37g freshwater tank. I am trying to get rid of a ramshorn snail infestation so I've got everything pulled out of the tank but I did test this unit and I'm satisfied.I started using wavemakers and airstone in all my tanks because Cory from Aquarium Co-op said on a video that its one of the most important suggestions he makes to new tank owners. Add airflow to aerate the water and it makes a lot of sense to me. I've got 6 freshwater and two saltwater "reef" tanks and I have added airflow to all of them. I'd buy this unit again once some of my other units give out.

Update - 3 days later my unit has developed a very loud noise, took apart cleaned nothing seems wrong yet it’s super loud :(——-Works really well at circulating the water in my 29 gallon tank, this not only helps stir things up for the filters to catch particals, but the fish seem to love swimming into the water stream too!I ended up installing this into a corner facing the main body of the tank positioned downwards and that seemed to give the best flow.

It does what is says it does. It's a water pump that runs underwater. My fish seems to like it because it creates a stream of water current for them to play. I just wish it had different speeds and most importantly, I wish it had a on/off switch on the cord. Instead of plugging and unplugging it I used a wifi outlet with a power button so I can use the button or my voice (with Google speaker) to turn it on and off.

Good idea and works to create gentle waves. We're using it in a 48inchx48inch (12 inch high) pool that can be filled to 90 gallons for our Turtle-kiddo. PROS: (1) it works and does make gentle waves in the water which is great for our turtle; (2) suction works well; (3) it is quiet ; (4) works well in pool with over 50 gallons (for gentle waves).MINOR NOTES: (1) No on/off switch so it has to be plugged or unplugged (need add an inline switch); and (2) the head doesn't lock in position but does not seem to move once it's in the water. Great item for value. Hoping it lasts.

These little wave machines are very beneficial in your aquarium. It keeps the water moving so that it doesn’t become stagnant. I like that you can set this to 60 or 100% and that it has full circulation. Works good in a 20 gallon tank. I’m not sure I would use it in a 10 or smaller. It mounts very easily with suction to the inside of the aquarium wall and is very simple to set up.

Bought this for my 75 gallon turtle tank to help stir up the gunk on the bottom. Overall a great product and works well for what I needed.Pros: It's super powerful! It's got a huge suction cup which is nice so that she hopefully can't knock it off of the glass. I was alittle worried that the fan is close to the opening but our turtle is big enough that it shouldn't be an issue.Cons: My only con is that you can't lock the position of the head in place. For fish this shouldn't be a problem but for our turtle she is big and definitely going to knock it around here and there and we will have to adjust it.
