Worked great for a year then died, I have had two of these identical pumps, both work for approximately a year then motor froze up.i am now looking for something else Don't want to spend 100 bucks a year

I’m using this for my koi pond and while the power is exactly as strong as I wanted, it keeps heating up and made my pond 93 degrees! It happened 3 days in a row until I hooked up a different pump (that is nowhere near as strong) and now my temperature is back to normal. I’m not sure what to do about it because the pump is great just way to hot to have live koi fish in it. I had 11 fish die!!! I’m so sad, my other pump is the same brand but not as powerful and I’ve been using it for two years, love it and wanted more power, back on the small pump now.

it does seem to have one weakness – when the vessel it is pumping water from gets below about 1 inch the pump becomes aerobe and will not pump anymore until it is tipped over and the air can burp out of the impeller chamber. If you're in a situation where the water will never get that low, this might be a perfect pump for you. Even with this minor inconvenience, it's still a really good pump for me.

Hooked it up to test it out. Once plugged in it started making a considerably loud rumbling but the suction wasn't even enough to get any of the water into the connected hose. So I removed the hoses and submerged it, still no suction. Took it apart and put it back together. Still nothing.

Don't waste money. I only used it for 3 days. On the 3rd day, it ran and stopped. On the 4th day, it stopped completely.Updated: after complaining about the pump. Water Rebirth Store sent me another one and the second one works great. 5 stars for customer service and pumps

very powerful pump very quiet. I came off the pump with 1" PVC adapted down to 3/4 put a tee with two valves so I can send wanted to my fountain and waterfall the valves I use to slow down the flow where I want it to be works beautifullyThe first day I ended up pumping my pond dry the pump ran dry for who knows how long over night and never burned out or seized up
