The best thing about these cords is how easy it is to burn the ends. I like to make my own clasps so I can’t really speak to the quality of the ones that come with them. I cut the clasp off and am able to finish the cord ends by applying some heat with a match. At about 10 cents apiece, you really can’t beat it.

I bought these to use with my students in an after school art club. They made their own charms and slipped those onto the cords. I had to give a few students new cords the next week as the metal attachments on the cords had fallen off or the clasp broke.
