I'm not sure if crimping is needed for this string but I cannot get it to stay tied no matter how many knots I make.

It worked, the only downside is that it was too slippery for me to tie it, I think I just needed a different kind of elastic string.

I usually like this type of stretch cord, but this one is horrible, It frays and is totally useless. I have had to take bracelets apart due to it being unusable. Do Not Buy.
