This pool pole and hooks might do ok for a small pool that requires only light duty pool work. We have a 24’ above ground pool and a small cordless cleaning robot. After assembling the pole and hook, my first thought was that there’s no way this pole will last very long because it felt so thin and lightweight. But I gave it a try anyway. As soon as I hooked the robot and lifted up, the pole snapped into, at the first connection. The hook actually didn’t snap, only the pole, but the hooks are a very lightweight plastic. This set might be sturdy enough to retrieve maybe a pool floats but I can’t recommend it for anything heavier.
