I grabbed this little printer before a week of business travel and it has been a total game changer. It slips into my backpack like a water bottle and barely adds any weight. Being able to print documents from my phone or tablet over Bluetooth means no more hunting for a hotel business center at the last minute.Setup was a breeze. I paired it with my iPhone in seconds and printed my first page right away. The USB-C connection to my laptop worked just as smoothly when I needed to print larger contracts.The thermal printing is surprisingly sharp. At 300 DPI, text looks crisp and photos come out clear in black and white. The fact that I never have to worry about ink makes everything so much cleaner and more convenient.Battery life is solid too. I got through several print jobs and about 100 pages on a single charge before it needed a top-up, which took under two hours. That gave me plenty of power for back-to-back meetings.I also love the built-in paper bin and the five different paper sizes it accepts. From boardroom-ready A4 documents to smaller receipts and labels, it handles everything flawlessly. It’s easily the most versatile travel printer I’ve used.All in all this compact wireless printer has made remote work truly portable. It’s lightweight, reliable, and cost effective. I ordered this portable thermal printer to replace a similar unit that started giving me problems. I had ordered a couple portable thermal printers prior to this, but they didn't work out I set the bar low for this printer.I use these portable thermal printers to print shipping labels for items I resell online. I like these style of printers because they allow my to print on the thermal sticker shipping labels, that I just peel and stick on the package. This printer lets me load the labels through it's rear feed system which is the only way the labels I have can be loaded.The labels are easy to load, but you can also load thermal paper rolls that are made for these type of printers. The printer comes with a thermal paper roll included, along with a C charger, but it's just the cord. The instructions are easy to read and walk you through downloading and using the app you need to control the printer. The printer easily connects to the app through Bluetooth and it's pretty simple to figure out how to use.I took a star because I'm not a big fan of the app this printer uses. It's pretty basic and doesn't have as many options as the app my last printer used, but in the end it does a good job of printing labels.

I was very excited to order this. When taken out of the box, I had a lot of instructions to read. It certainly wasn't plug and play. I installed the app on one phone and it refused to pair with this Chinese brand phone. I then installed the app on another phone, a Motorola and it paired easily. The print quality is fine. I didn't like the app. They were trying to sell a subscription for Ai so it had colorful ads in the background which were distracting and not aesthetically pleasing. Also the first two options for printing were the ai related stuff, which I didn't appreciate.I wish it came with a case since it's supposed to be portable. I would've taken a cheap pouch even.

This is my first thermal printer, and the speed was pretty good. However, I was disappointed with the print quality. Solid graphics have perceptible lines going through the gradients. Text was legible. I wouldn't use this for printings where you need perfect aliased text and solid graphics. Shame I couldn't get this to pair with my Windows 11 laptop and have to go through the iOS/Android app to print anything.

La impresora llega en su caja, con los accesorios previstos, y sin mucho más que merezca la pena destacar. El estado era perfecto y la presentación simplemente correcta. Incluye un cable de carga USB A a USB C (la entrada de la propia impresora es USB C) de aproximadamente un metro de largo, y un adaptador USB A a USB C.La puesta en marcha es francamente sencilla. Sólo es necesario abrir el compartimento del papel para retirar la hoja de protección que trae y desempaquetar el rollo de papel térmico que incluye y ponerlo en su sitio. Se descarga la aplicación (es la de Phomemo) y se procede a la instalación de la impresora, que dura unos 15 segundos. No exagero, el emparejamiento es inmediato y no hay que hacer nada más que pulsar sobre el nombre de la impresora y aceptar.Y ya podemos imprimir desde el teléfono, porque la impresora llega con la batería a medio cargar.Para usarla desde un ordenador, no hay más que conectar a través del cable USB y usarla como cualquier otra impresora. El ordenador también la ha reconocido inmediatamente, y no parece que haya necesitado instalar ningún driver por ahora.En cuanto a la calidad de la impresión, es realmente buena imprimiendo documentos de texto. La impresión de fotografías es muy mejorable, para qué nos vamos a engañar. Pero es que no es para eso. Imprimir una buena fotografía no suele ser una tarea urgente que no pueda esperar a llegar a casa. Aún así, imprime con una calidad aceptable las fotografías que aparezcan en los documentos. No tendrán buena resolución, pero tampoco nos dolerán los ojos.La impresión es lenta pero tampoco tanto como esperaba leyendo otros cometarios. Quién esté acostumbrado a la impresión con inyección de tinta en impresora doméstica no notará una diferencia apreciable entre ambos sistemas. Y el papel, usando el rollo, se para al llegar al tamaño indicado (en este caso DIN-A 4. Es un poco raro porque se corta como si fuera papel de aluminio, así que el borde superior e inferior quedan dentados como los tickets de supermercado, pero el tamaño es adecuado. Existe también la posibilidad de usar páginas precortadas, y dispone de una ranura en la parte posterior para este fin. Probablemente en ese caso el acabado es más estético y profesional, pero no lo he probado todavía.El peso hay que tenerlo en cuenta a la hora de cargar con el dispositivo, pero pesa bastante menos que el propio ordenador portátil. Y el tamaño es perfecto para llevar en una mochila o maletín.Me parece una impresora muy práctica para quien necesite transportar su oficina al completo y llevar consigo una impresora capaz de facilitar un documento en cualquier parte. Me falta comprobar la duración de la batería, pero tampoco es un tema que para mi resulte trascendental, ya que cuando llevo conmigo el ordenador portátil siempre suelo llevar el cargador o una batería de potencia alta, y no espero imprimir más que alguna página con ella fuera de casa.El precio es bastante competitivo por lo que he comprobado comparándolo con otras impresoras del mismo tipo.Únicamente echo de menos la posibilidad de imprimir de forma inalámbrica desde el ordenador. Creo que hubiera estado muy bien contar con una versión de la aplicación para sistema operativo. También se hubiera agradecido contar con alguna funda protectora que la proteja durante los desplazamientos, aunque estos dos aspectos tampoco me parecen imprescindibles como para estar menos contenta con la impresora.Me parece una excelente opción para quien necesite llevar consigo a cualquier parte su impresora y obtener documentos al instante. Me está gustando mucho. No creo que haya que considerarla una alternativa a la impresora convencional por ahora, salvo casos muy concretos. Pero para el uso para el que se ha diseñado, creo que cumple muy bien.
