Purchased this jack stand Jack a year ago to do front end work on my car and I must say this is an excellent jack. It stays in my car in case I get a flat tire. I feel safer using this jack. It was a good buy. Well worth the money.

Bought this for my jeep two years ago, I reordered it recently because I thought the old one had broken . While cleaning my jeep out I realized it hadn’t broken and a bolt had just backed itself out due to vibrations while driving. I have used it for my jeep on 35 with a 3 1/2 inch lift, easy to use, great with the jack stand built in.

Perfect for a pick up truck or SUV at a normal height. Jack lifts with ease and minimal strenght is required.

So apparently this is a badly designed product that keeps selling for years with no Quality Control. Luckily, it is fixable. From 2 jacks 1 was leaking oil. I would give it 5 stars instead of 1 because I had fun fixing it but you wouldn't find it so easy if you now need the fix like I did so here it is:1) FIX- Remove the release valve- Clean yourself, the floor and the jack from oil- Use a magnet to remove the steel ball that's supposed to sit flush beneath the release valve- Put the steel ball to a safe location- Remove the O-rings from the release valve and use new, 0.05mm-0.1 thicker ones- Insert the steel ball exactly in the center of the seat- Insert the release valve2) REFILL THE OIL- Remove the upper rubber plug- Remove the remaining oil- Refill with new hydraulic oil - the hole is the level- Put back the rubber plugIf you have doubts about the step, find a YouTube video.3) BLEED THE AIRStage 1- Without weight on jack, open release valve.- Hand lift jack to maximum height.- Close release valve.- Put pressure on jack (jack might go down about halfway).- Pump jack to maximum height. (if jack does not move, just keep pumping it for about 20-25 full strokes)- Once the jack reaches maximum height, pump it some more – about 10-15 full pumps.- Open release valve.- As the jack comes down, start pumping jack again.- When jack reaches lowest level, pump it some more – about 10-15 full strokes.Stage 2- Close release valve.- Pump jack to maximum height.- When maximum height is reached, pump some more – about 10-15 full strokes.- Open release valve.- As jack comes down, start pumping jack again.- When jack reaches lowest level, pump it some more – about 10-15 full strokes.- Repeat Stage 2, 2-3 times.Stage 3- Put some weight on the jack.- Repeat Stage 2.I hope it was helpful. Work safe and enjoy your car.

Worked like charm on Kia Forte 5SX, which has a low ground clearance, just like the car on manufacturer's picture. The jack is heavy and very well made.
