Prestaratchet is always in position to get the whole job done. Spin a loose bolt snug with the thumb-wheel, then tighten with the handle. Flick the reverse lever with the same thumb to loosen. You can operate Prestaratchet with one hand and hold a brake cable with the other. Tighten and loosen as many times as you want to get the perfect cable position and never move your hand or remove the tool in the process. Our handle provides a firm grip and contours to the palm of your hand to eliminate the pressure points, common in Allen or Torx keys.
Safer & Longer Lasting
With an Allen or Torx key, each time you tighten or loosen a bolt, you remove and re-insert the tool multiple times. Twisting, turning and inserting, each time is a chance to get the Allen or Torx key crooked and damage expensive bicycle bolts. With Prestaratchet's reversible ratchet and thumb-wheel, the tool stays on-the-job without any additional insertions. Eventually the tip of your most commonly-used Allen or Torx keys can wear out. Exactly what I was looking for - a small ratchet that would fit in tight spaces that had a variety of hex bit options (using for wheelchair repairs). The ratchet itself is really light but feels sturdy enough to last, and the toggle to go between "tighten" and "loosen" is easy to flip.I am taking off one star, though, for a couple of issues with the included bits. First, I find that some of the bits are hard to remove from the ratchet , they slide in just a bit too far when used and require a lot of effort (pulling/twisting) to get back out. The second issue is hopefully just a sorting error - my bit set has a duplicate Torx 20 bit rather than the 2 mm hex bit (so my kit bag still needs a spare set of hex keys just in case...)

An incredible tool for a bike pouch or saddle bag. Far more convenient than a folding multi tool.One of my best buys recently.After a few years of use the adhesive between the plastic handle and metal has loosened. Easy to repair with epoxy but it is a weakness of this design.I now prefer the Canyon 3in1 Multi tool

Despite this being the more expensive of the sets and being labeled a tool kit, the bits (1/2) were the only thing that shipped. The ratchet is clearly displayed in the description. Overall disappointing. If they really are selling 10 bits for $9.95. If you look closely you can see rust on the small flathead so I’d say the value for the money is not there either.

Great little tool. The bit selection is great. Actually more variety than sets from Park and Pedro tools. The ratchet on the tool is high quality, the same in fact as the Topeak ratchet tool (from what I can tell). I needed a 2mm for the lock on grips from ODI that I have (surprisingly the small bits are less common in popular bit sets). I just used this tool to address a creaking headset/stem yesterday, came in handy (still needed the torque wrench for the final tightening). For the price, this is an awesome little tool. It is small enough to take on rides as multi tool if you wanted (I have a dedicated multi tool for rides, so this is a shop tool for me). Complimented with a proper torque wrench, and regular L Allen keys, this is a handy little ratchet tool system. The real test will be durability and longevity on the ratchet mechanism. Glad the made the decision to purchase this tool. Will see myself using it regularly.
