The metal and mechanisms used to make this purse hook are of a good quality. The hook moves easily and latches and unlatches without an issue. It works on the table edges, and laid flat really well. There was even some extra room for the hook in case of a thicker table. The paint on the clover is well done, and looks nice in person. It looks exactly like the website photos, including the rubber mat on the back to protect any table tops.To open the purse hook you pull up on the ring part. It’s a clasp type of mechanism that you pull to open and push together to close.
